Okay, Enlightened! I did what is called a "6 card answer spread" because I felt like it would give a more detailed answer than a 1 card pull or 3 card spread. In this spread there are 2 cards for past, 2 for present, and 2 for future.

Here is what I got for your question:

Oi, so many emotions here. First instinct was to attribute this to romance, but I wonder if it's because you're currently caught in a situation that's not emotionally fulfilling for you, which is beyond just the romance hemisphere.

I feel like you seem obligated to do certain things that are just directly related to the environment you're in, like your movements are restrictive.

This was very accuarate and hit on some crucial points...I have had a very rough year emotionally. I am very drained & depressed, and financially trying to get on my own two feet...

Thank you! Both parts of this reading make me feel more optimistic about what's to come, and feeling grounded and secure would be nice for a change haha. This past year has been nuts! A lot of personal growth has taken place as a result, but I wouldn't want to do it all over again if I had the choice.

As for the second part, you are more than right when you said I've been in a negative mindset about my love life. It has been moving slowly for a while now, and it seems that every time I've gotten close to something this past year and a half, it just hasn't ended up going the way I'd hoped.. there's been a lot of heartache associated with it, especially so these past 8 months. I am hoping for a positive turnaround soon, so I'll continue to work on releasing self-doubt in the meantime. First, I want to say that I'm glad my reading resonated with you again! I was a bit more nervous doing a love reading, so I'm glad it made sense.

Second, the way you described my situation with N really does fit. He's been confusing the heck out of me lately, but everything you said about how he is (and even his fears) is spot on. He takes a while to really open up, and has some communication issues..takes a while to trust people, etc.

He can really frustrate me sometimes with his back and forth behavior, and I know that I unnecessarily pressured him this past week as a result..but I'll watch doing that in the future, because the results were not positive lol. I'm just going to let him do his thing, and I'll do mine.

As for our relationship/connection being unconventional? That's a yes.
