Has anyone ever seen this card come up showing a reconciliation?
Anyone wants to share how you interpret this card in a love reading?

The last time when I got this card there was an awkward atmosphere between me and my "ex" flatmate after I told him I liked him.

Later, I told him that I didn't want to ruin anything, so we remained "friends". Or at least until he finally moved, because we don't even talk now...

I read this here:

"Understand that Temperance does mean patience--but only patience when it comes to achieving a goal. And that goal is usually to get a "third" chemical out of the mix. It's not a matter of blending, per se. If you put oil and vinegar together, you can blend them into a salad dressing...but let that salad dressing sit for a while and the two ingredients will separate. That's not what Temperance wants.

Temperance wants *TRANSFORMATION*. Temperane wants to make the oil and vinegar bond into a completely different, third element that will never come apart. Temperance wants, for example, to take oxygen and hydrogen and transform them into water. Hence, it is the card of the patient and persistent chemist who finds the right measurements so that the two halves become a third, different creation.

And so the card may well be telling you to be patient and keep working on getting the right elements in the right proportion when you're with your ex...because eventually the right amount of the right stuff will transform your relationship from acrimonious to harmonious."

For me personally it has come up as a card that showed that there was "healing" needed and thus represented a stronger internal focus. It was not indicative of withdrawel though, like the Hermit often is, but yes, healing, I can`t say it any better.

Healing, acceptance and finding back to balance.

Actually it is more a real integration of even opposing feelings than just accepting something because you don`t have a choice. I`d say it is more acceptance with the heart.

Yes I believe it is a good card for a reconciliartion, or actually it is the stage before the reconciliation. Though it could also mean moving on to something worthier.
I think it depends what the result of the evaluation of the relationship before were, if you have accepted and integrated and processed the events leading to separation.

As for relationships:

Thanks for sharing these
Yes, healing I have seen too. But I know that it's said to also be a good card 4 relationships... It's just I have never seen it come up that way & I wondered if anyone has...
It mostly shows 4 me after the couple split up (& things kind of calmed down (if it was an intense break up/one party not speaking to the other for a while), but never as an actual reconciliation card. But more as a letting go softly card if that makes sense.
Example: someone gets a call after years from ex X. Just to share some family info. Current state: temperance.
This doesn't involve into anything new. X just goes on doing her thing.
Y (whi never let go) sees this as a good thing & hopes for more, but that never happens & things continue like before.

I agree with this one.

Its always symbolized lessons for me...and not easy ones unfortunately

I also second the letting go but not really "reconciling".
