So, are there any aspects or planet placements that show someone has been raised in a strict and overprotective home? I am not sure if it shows and if it does, i don't know where to look. I have posted my natal chart below.
Any thoughts?

Pluto in twelfth trine moon? I have this combination, also. My mom wasn't overprotective but she was super strict about everything, when she paid attention, that is.

I would say a strong Saturn--lots going on in hard aspect. You have that.

Sun opposite Saturn and square moon
Wow and the moon has a lot of afflictions

Saturn in 2nd house..reminds me of possessiveness for some reason

I would definitely say tough placements like Saturn in the 4th house or the moon in the 10th (Mom playing Dad's roles?). Both could be poorly aspected, although considering your Pisces moon, its possible that the overprotection was either a necessity or something that made you feel your parents or environment was harsher than it was.

Your Saturn sits in the 2nd house of feelings. You could have perceived your home life as harsh as a child. One thing's for sure, you've got a struggle with emotion...Your Moon is in a very emotional sign and your 2nd house placement of Saturn is harsh.

It all starts with one's ascendant and dominating planets in the natal chart, guidelines as below and may vary from chart to chart based on position, aspect, houses and signs.
* Cancer Ascendants typically remember everything and hold it inside. Now with an afflicted mercury won't be able to say it out at all (communication / vent)
* Sun and Saturn conjunction is deadly and known for this, if it is in the first house then for sure that early childhood is affected. Saturn becomes deadly based on Combustion or retrograde motion
* Also if there is Rahu/Ketu influence/aspect then even bad childhood.

Questions, let me know as I practice vedic astrology

Thanks for your responses. It makes sense that Saturn would be responsible for a strict environment. I looked at both my sisters' charts and found that one of them has Saturn at the 4th house and the other one has Pluto in the 4th house.

Watch the sibling with Pluto in her 4th house. I've seen Pluto square Sun in this house and it led to a violence in the home

There wasn't any violence in our home, but i can't tell about her future home as she is still a little young. She doesn't have a Sun-Pluto square but she has a Moon-Pluto square. (Moon resides in her first house)
