I say Lenomard, my question is for school this fall semester, if I will attend or if I should take a break, and money. It all gets jumbled together because I don't know if I'll have money for school and I still don't know if taking a break would be the best course of action, but the idea of taking a break is kinda like, what the hell will I do with my time??

Also if you can help me dissect a reading I did for myself, I can't even remember how I phrased the question and I have asked before but decided to ask again because something felt different to me...can't say what exactly. But I asked something along the lines of will this guy do as I ask (don't want to go into detail)

Okay, I'll do the Lenormand in just a second (and to be fair, I am such, such a novice... I mean, it's embarrassing. So if the reading doesn't mesh, I'd be happy to do a tarot.)

But the 3 card to me actually comes off as heavily encumbered and sad. The Queen and King are both passionate, but in extremely different ways. Their elements in these positions are also ill suited. It's possible to overcome the differences, and to be sure, the Queen scratches the emotional itch the King does have, but he'll be hard pressed to scratch hers, opting instead to make her laugh. This King glosses over problems more often than not. She's a bit of a hoverer, who needs emotional support and encouragement often. He's a showman, dedicated to his freedom and caprice.

All that to say... the Ace of Swords reads to me like a plea to look at the situation practically and fresh. Rationally. To see him for who he is and you as you are. It says that the situation (and your request of him) is essentially a square peg aimed at a round hole. It could happen, but the square's edges have to dull or the hole's sides have to crack...

Sorry to say so, but that feeling just washed over me the minute I saw the cards, before I even read your description of the question. Also can't shake the distinct impression he like... something with a lizard. I don't know. I just keep hearing lizard lizard lizard. Which also just might be the fact that I haven't had lunch yet.

It's an active card with a lot of hope steeped in it. The double wands would stack in the King's favor though, so I would say it's possible he's going to be the deciding factor at the end of the day (like you said, do what you ask.) Because it's an Ace, it's still too early to tell though.

Thanks, Twirl! That really means a lot. I appreciate it It's fun and scary at the same time, because I'm hyper-aware of subjectivity and how sometimes stuff just doesn't float... but I really like this baby. Lol. I just keep being compelled to write this baby, and I want him to grow up and live a happy, healthy life and maybe run a company and have a pretty wife and 2.5 kids and then retire somewhere in Majorca :P

I read a five card spread where the center card is the present, the anchor. The cards to the left are the influence that's waning, and the cards to the right are the card's that are slowly coming into prominence.

Seems to me in the past there was a lot of pain and a lot of obsession about that pain. An abusive relationship maybe, or at least, something where someone had considerable influence over the other. I keep thinking "being drunk on someone." The kind of chemistry between two people that's a powerful aphrodisiac. This has led you to now... a decision isn't being made, again, because it's painful. The 2 for me always means we know what needs to be done, but because it's connected to our emotions (even though it's a sword... notice that pesky moon up there in the right corner) we're trying to ignore it. Trying to apply some outside rational and change the context of the issue. Make it less painful.

What's coming around the bend is the 8 of Swords reversed (notice all the swords -- this situation's really consuming your thoughts). You're starting to realize, or at least feel on some level, that you don't want to put yourself through this again with J. You're finally going to take the first step to distance yourself. To call it quits and free yourself from the bondage you've put yourself in over them (both the 2 and 8 are woman blindfolded, often, by their own volition.) Hope this helps at all or even rang a bit true. I have a question about the angel cards, since I'm not too familiar with them. Does their advice get read chronologically? Or is it more you have to put them all together and interpret something? If so... what do you think this is saying? I sort of feel like it's saying strike while the iron is hot and run wild with the horses, but always be cautious; there's the chance for a major derailing here if ego gets in the way of the message (and spiritual guidance). Like, don't get focused on getting it published, get focused on making it the best story it can be.

Re angel cards reading:
