if you don`t mind, I have pulled three cards for you.

Nine of Cups - Queen of Swords - Two of Pentacles

Clarification card: Strength

Hmm, I feel he is juggling the options. ON the one hand the Nine of Cups cards is a card of contentment and satisfaction on an emotional level (though personally I find this guy to be a bit too complacent and self-satisfied).

I am not exactly sure what the Queen of Swords is doing there, as she seems to be quite defensive to me, and playing it rathr cool and keeping thoughts and feelings close to the chest. Not easy to know her heart (or his heart).

And then the 2 of pentacles, he seems to be thinking about the options Yes or No.
It feels like he is undergoing a mental process where he weighs the pros and con of a committed relationship with you.

Ok so you might feel that the situation is unstable or there's an unequal power dynamic going on (Emperor rx). This card reversed can sometimes be someone who is very demanding or maybe just not willing to give you the time of day unless it's benefits him in some way or strokes his ego..

With 10 of pents rx, you may really want to build something serious with him, but you're questioning whether or not that's realistic. You want something stable and committed but you don't know if he has potential for that long-term. Maybe you feel like he would be too controlling?

But still despite any doubts you have, you don't want to let him/the relationship go (Death rx). This was the first card so it seems like you really do have feelings for him and still believe it would be worth sticking it out and trying to work through whatever issues there are

Hi MetalAphrodite, no problem!! For your question I pulled:

The Tower-2 of Pentacles-Knight of Pentacles rx

Well the tower is an intense card, and at first glance it seems to be the exact opposite of stability and solid foundations.. But I wouldn't automatically assume it's negative in this situation. If he is serious about the relationship it could also mean that having such strong feelings for you came unexpectedly and he knows big changes are in store

Interesting that I also drew the 2 of Pents, as Ceridwen said he could be weighing his options and trying to figure out how to balance everything... With the tower he may think building a future with you will cause a dramatic shift in his priorities and it could be sort of an all or nothing decision...

And yes, what you wrote, seems right. I was just being curious, if what I feel is real, or if I have managed to talk myself into something again. You know with Neptune on 1st house I have learned to question wether what I feel is a real personal feeling of mine or me either picking up on something of another person or telling myself into a dream/ wishful thinking.

Twirl once interpreted that in one of my readings as someone thinking about me, not extensely, but now and then me coming into his mind.
So since you are asking if you shall contact him, I guess you have been thinking of him. But maybe you weren´t too vocal or open about it. Maybe you even were a little suspicious.

The Two of pentacles in the centre shows that the state of mind you are in presently, that is thinking about the two alternatives: Yes or no.

Now we have the Page of Wands as last card (I see them in a chronological order, one thing leads to the other), and Pages are messengers; what better card could come up for contacting someone?

Since I wasn`t sure how to interprete it, I pulled another card as clarification and got Strength, which I view as a very positive card. It shows that if you are sticking to it (or he is), that there can be a wonderful balance be accomplished.
It is not so much a taming of the beast, but more so two different people (or qualities) finding to a loving relationship and agreement.
And not to mention that there seems to be quite some deep attraction between you, which actually might act to tilt the scales in your favour.

This makes a lot of sense. We have such strong communication gaps that we're constantly misunderstanding one another. His Sun and my Saturn are conjunct in Sagittarius in the 11th house if that explains anything.

Our common agreement(and our most strongest one) is that there is no lack of love on either side, that we love one another very strongly.

There have also been plenty of times where I've come up as Queen of Swords when asked how does he view me.

He would have to give up a lot to be with me. I don't want him to do it. I want him to stay where he is and work.

It's a whole lot of bleh because I think it would be counterproductive for him to come here. Maybe I should tell him that again.

your explanations make much sense, the 9 of cups can depict a richness of feelings, but the Queen of Swords plays it close to the chest, a little bit defensive and having a hard time trusting; i think it is really up to you and him, what you are making of it, but if the love is there, I`d say, trust in it.

As for my question, maybe you could pull a few cards about how this guy is currently feeling about me (since I already asked about my feelings ).

Hmm, I see a very enriching relationship with this guy. In his spirit, he feels like this could be true love and that with this type of love, he can be more productive. It actually puts a pep in his step and improves the quality of how he does stuff.

It does seem like he's not voicing this(then again, if he were voicing it, you wouldn't need to ask the cards lol). It's a bit hard for him to be able to put to words how he feels. With the Queen of Swords, I feel as if he thinks your intelligence is what shines the most about you. His feelings for you are what makes him want to crawl out of his comfort zone and want to match your every move.

Overall, I would say this is a very good feeling. You being in his life makes his life a better one to live .
