I'm curious about the relevance of the relocated chart as opposed to the natal chart. Is the natal chart the most important one, or if you move does the relocated chart become the most important? I'm hoping it's the natal. I like things stationary. I posted this question over on Beginner's, but I'm posting it here as well because there seems the more opinions the better. IP: Logged |

I can tell you my experience. I was born in one place, but live my whole life in another. Only recently I realized that I have different rising sign in relocation chart(birthplace-29°00' Aries, real place of living-5°00' Taurus, I'm Libra Sun btw). Only rising sign and some asteroids are different, everything else is the same. I definitely feel more like Libra Sun Aries rising than Libra Sun Taurus rising. But honestly I hope that relocation charts do have any kind of impact because I am unhappy (my natal chart is stressful) and really hoping that moving to another country will help me. IP: Logged |

Your birth data remains the same (same day, same time), but you put in the city you're living in now. That's how I've been led to understand you make a relocated chart. I'm worried about it for astrocartography reasons. My mother was born under a Pluto line, and--going by her natal chart--if she moves, she'll be leaving it, but according to the relocated chart I did, no matter where she moves, she'll still be under that line.

That's what I'm hoping for my mother's sake, too--that moving to another country will help my mother, but only if her natal chart stays here. According to her relocation chart, she'll be heavily influenced by Pluto wherever she goes. IP: Logged | |
