Topic: Requesting a reading- Dad's cancer diagnosis

Hi all,
Can I request someone for a reading- I am not sure what type of reading?
My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer and this week the tests show it has spread to his hip bone. I am very worried for him. Can you pl. tell me if it is a bad phase for him and me?
what can I do to help him overcome this difficult time and what can I do to get through this tough time?
Pl. help.
Let me know what chart should I post.

On a side note, medically, meditation and positive thinking have helped certain cases regarding irreversible cancers. It has been proven to boost immunity and good hormones in the body. I know that seems silly but it is worth a try. Have him imagine and visualize the cancers cells and every evening have him....visualize them dissolving or himself shooting them away. He needs to really focus on this. Beside this little random bit of info...I'll pull some cards for you. I'm really sorry you and him have to go through this. IP: Logged |

how should rajin help her dad get through his current situation?So basically what you should avoid:
- Don't get upset at him about any of his behavior. Even if it is nonsensical or counterintuitive just be loving. Don't judge and demand. Be open hearted and guide. Guide. - He might go into self reflection. Don't deny him that space but don't let him sink into it. - Be cheery around him. Show him that you guys can take care of yourselves. Don't let all the emotions get to you. I know it's hard but....you must not show him your pain. Show him your compassion, kindness and give him plenty of your time. - If he doesn't appreciate your pain or efforts, big deal. This isn't about you. It's all about him. - Let past hurts if any go. This is the time he needs to be stress free and not flogged by any other thought. Apologize or forgive genuinely.

Thanks for the support. I did not understand the meaning of the tarot cards. Do they indicate any positive outcome? What do the cards say?
As you said it is tough to be positive when things are bleak. It hurts me that I can do nothing for him to ease his pain.If I could take the disease on me instead of him, I would gladly go through it. He is the center of my universe and I love him and my mom very much. Nothing I will do for them will ever equal the love they have for me. It is just unconditional, pure, selfless love, no strings attached.IP: Logged |

Hi Redshoes.
He was first diagnosed in 2008. At that time it was confined to his prostate, Now there is a spot on his hip bone.
I know there are new drugs coming up and there is hope. It is just a scary time for us. Nobody should fall sick in this world. I pray to God that no one should ever have to face this fear in their lives.

I didn't ask about the outcome. I asked: how should rajin help her dad get through his current situation? What I listed is what you should do...or at least try to. I see that you guys are very close-knit. DOn't let him feel your worry or your pain. You need to put up a brave face for him. IP: Logged |

No, he has not tried Reiki. I don't know of any qualified Reiki practitioners. He is feeling a lot better this week. Thanks for the wishes, support and help.IP: Logged |
