Solar Returns are the current day transit planets making aspects on your natal planets, on your birthday. The word "Solar" means the Sun. So, every year on your birthday, the Sun returns to make the same aspects to your natal planets year after year. So, if you are interested in your Solar Return, it is not the transiting Sun you are concerned with, it is instead, the change in aspects from the other transiting planets making aspect to your natal planets on your birthday. Because, these aspects will always be different from year to year. You are trying to find out if they are better or worst from last year. Now, it doesn't automatically mean that you'll find love this year, I had SR libra asc. & pisces moon in the 5th house & sure enough no love for me. But it did mean an increase in social life & going out, since the 5th house rules pleasure, good times & etc. 7th house is more partnership & relationship oriented.

Interesting to note that your birthday falls after a full moon. I forgot what that means, will have to look it up.

There will be an emphasis on friends & again groups since SR sun is shining in the 11th house, again pointing to a focus on social life.

- Is that 1st house stellium with libra asc important? Do you know how I can interpret that?

-And last, ok in my progressed chart I have p.Venus conjunct p. NN and P.Venus conjunct natal NN AND looking at my solar return I have the Venus/NN theme going on too, so does this pretty much symbolize that this is a significant year for my romantic life? Are there any other "themes" that you can see that I should keep a mental note of? And more specifically "bad or hard" events/obstacles?

yes.

Look at the transit chart on the top. It should have on it "SR". Look on the top left hand corner of that chart for Sun on Sun (S S). You should see #1 with a white background. That equals 1 degree. Now move across the chart from left to right, you should see #30 in black background, that is Transiting Sun 30 degree your natal North Node. And so on.

A.You have to read the aspects first, then apply the influences of the planets to the aspect. This is standard procedure for reading pie charts.

The colorvision calculations are based on the natal chart data only. Its emphases is on the aspect results only, it does not take into account planet placements.
