Hello. I was just wondering if there's someone who can give me some insight on my progression chart. I have never delved into progression astrology, so I was hoping if someone can give me a hand. I'm not necessairly looking for an expert's opinion, but any helpful advice will be appreciated.

My birth: Jan 15th 1978 / 11:30AM / Seoul Korea

Thanks for the advice. This is it. I'm not sure how you read progressed chart. Does it require my natal as well? Haha..I'm completely in the dark.

Yes, you compare it to the natal. Exact aspects will highlight yearly themes.
The most significant years having progressions involving the angles. (and also Sun and Moon, though the pr MOon is moving very quickly and more acting as trigger).

Then if you have summarized the yearly themes, you can chck the tertiary (monthly) progressions to see which month will show exact aspects to the angles (esp. involving the secondary progressions or even repeating sec. progressions) along with transits so you can pinpoint the timeframe.

Example from my own chart:

On 15th july 2013 at 3:33 a.m. I had

sec. pr Moon: 10°01 Cancer
sec. pr DESC: 8°50 Cancer

squared natal and pr Pluto on 9°05 and 9°11 Libra

(this is the "promise" of this year, a Moon-Pluto-square with Moon being in Cancer; more significant because of the involvement of DESC).

The tertiary progressions: (though the pr Moon was already a good pointer):

tp Moon: 8°08 Capricorn
tp DESC: 8°30 Capricorn

(and no this is not "normal" that the tertiaries mimic the secondaries like this. NOt in the case of angles and Moon )

tp Pluto: 9°12 Libra (this is a slow mover, so it was not surprising it was still part of the deal).

So Moon-Pluto- DESC- second strike!

The transit chart of this moment had:

Tr Pluto: 9°57 Capricorn
Tr ASC: 9°03 Cancer

Tr Moon: 10°09 Libra

So, THIRD strike of Moon-Pluto-angle, this time in the transits, and more so, since it all set off the secondary progression, tertiary progression and of course the natal Pluto.

This was the exact moment(s) my grandmother died.

And though it is a bit creepy almost but in her natal chart she had:

Sun: 9°59 Cancer
Mars: 9°03 Cancer
Pluto: 8°27 Cancer

My Dad was with her when she died (and he told us that fittingly, when she made her final breaths, they would start playing a certain song on the radio: "My Way" by Frank Sinatra, and even more curiously, not only is my Dad`s first name Frank, but he shares the same initials with Sinatra. Odd, hu?)

For my Dad, his SN-Mars-conjunction was being triggered

SN: 9°42 Libra
Mars: 9°19 Libra

sp Sun: 9°01 Aries

tp Saturn: 8°28 Libra
tp MC (parental axis): 10°55 Libra

That is how progressions can work and pinpoint significant timeframes.
I am not sure it is that exact all the time though. I was quite crept out when I saw that initially to be honest. lol

Thanks Ceri. Thank you so much. I'm not sure if I understood half of what you said, but grandmother part is making me uneasy. I have a grandmother too, and she has been hospitalized for years now. I think her time is up for some reason..

Sorry to hear that.

I just picked this example, as it was so very clear. Of course this is not happening all the time, and even if you had Moon-Pluto-progressions it does NOT necessarily mean someone is going to die.

I`ve had other majore Moon-Pluto-things going on as well.
