My 6th house is ruled by Scorpio, and I have Pluto in the 5th, opposition Moon in the 11th. Not to mention Virgo naturally rules the 6th and I have Mercury also in the 11th. Would that mean looking at my chart one thinks I hook up with my co-workers?IP: Logged |

I've read that the 7/dsc ruler in the 6th house is what denotes meeting a partner in the work space. IP: Logged |

Thanks LC. What do we look for to describe the everyday work environment and day jobs one picks? So far I've worked in customer service oriented jobs. I thought this was typical and not an astrology related thing, but I have friends who were nannies or dog sitters instead. Its still customer service but not having to deal with people as much. I wish I could find a job where I have my own work space and room for creativity rather than a "customer is always right" mentality.IP: Logged |

So I know Sag is my DSC, but look how much of it rules my 6th house. Does that have any impact at all? I don't think I'd mind traveling or having travel as part of my job. I actually work at a hotel, ironically. But I need a job where I can express myself... a day to day type of job until I get through school and have the schedule available to make a career. But with Jupiter in the 12th I suppose I'm supposed to be grateful I have a job at all? And after we see Jupiter in the 12th (or, if we're going by tradition... Scorpio rules my 6th which means we see Pluto in the 5th, Capricorn ruling the 8th. Saturn then in the 7th and then Sun in the 11th, so I'm supposed to work with people whether I like it or not?) Neptune is in the 7th and Venus in the 11th. Yep... destined to work around people. Sigh. Suggestions? Lol IP: Logged |

6th house is the everday is more of a job and less of a career. It's the job you work during school or whenever to pay off bills before you get into the big game. At times the two are connected, other times not so much.I can actually see you being a marriage counselor or one to do with victims of sexual assault. I try to read charts as simply as possible, and I'm picturing yours in equal housing, which would still leave your 6th ruler as Pluto, in the 5th, career/10H ruler is Neptune in the 7th, and Jupiter in the 12 I have found to be really good at psychotherapy. However it is unaspected so it's difficult to say... Yes you will be surrounded by other people but you will still maintain your own integrity and self, if that makes any sense to you. I think if you edit your chart and put it in equal housing you may find that your Aries stellium falls in the 10th house which would give you an earthy capricornish vibe, which would tone down the impulsiveness of the Aries. As for dating co-workers I don't thinks so. Uranus in the 7th is notorious for attracting random people, 'weirdos' as well if you may. I can see you meeting someone through a group of friends and then dating/being interested in the strange loner one that is a bit on the outskirts of the group. IP: Logged |

I was a Psychology major for the longest time Now I'm a Sociology major. I don't mind working with people as a career, but customer service is really, really, really getting on my nerves. I need to be my own boss or THE boss because none of my managers (mostly women) have ever been very good at it. So I was wondering what tips my chart could point to getting a different kind of day job. It's so...it blows my mind how my and other people's charts are! There's always something in there as if to say "You're MEANT to have this kind of lay out." Even if I don't have my Aries stellium in the 10th, I still have Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Venus all aspecting Saturn. IP: Logged |

The Uranus bit reminds me of someone I just broke it off with recently. Also, and if you don't know it's totally okay, why do people always feed me at work? Is that shown in my chart? People ALWAYS bring me food. Every week, without fail. If they don't bring it then they offer it, and I don't even look hungry. IP: Logged |

The only thing I can think of is your moon in Taurus in the 11th house. Food nourishment by friends, also opp Pluto, your 6th H ruler. Oppositions most often present themselves externally. IP: Logged |

maybe i'm on my own with this, but i thought the 6th was more about life and daily tasks (which could be a job i suppose), and that the 10th was more of career house, and where we'd look for interactions in the workplace (whether someone was popular or not, destined for success in work, etc). if someone was unhappy with aspects of their job i'd probably look at the venus sign first and whether it's needs are being met by the job. if, for example, you have a venus virgo working in a messy environment they might dislike the job because they have an appreciation for being clean/tidy. imo venus is about love, but also how we want things around us to appear IP: Logged |

^ Interesting starmoon. That makes sense with my Venus. It's in the 11th house and although I make friends with my co-workers and they become like my 2nd family (I assume most people have this experience at work though) I work in a confined space, desk work, and am constantly having to mediate between management and the customers. I don't like being the middle man whatsoever, and I can barely stand the customers complaints lately without wanting to verbally punch them in the throat. I think having Venus in the 11H requires me to have a lot of freedom that just isn't possible in having steady employment. IP: Logged |
