Offering two readings this morning---any topic!

Trying to reconnect with my cards and hone in on my intuition again!

I've chimed in and out of this board, but you can do a search to find out the threads I've been involved in or the comments I've added so you know I'm not a complete newbie!

Hi!

I was putting down the cards and I had this feeling that you were artistic--I didn't know the nature of the question but I did your reading first actually before Allabaster's and wrote this out:
Since your question was general, I decided to go ahead and throw the cards down to see if I could pick up on anything. Are you a creative person? I ask because I get a sense that perhaps you just started on a creative adventure? Did you recently begin a project or land something you’ve been dreaming about, but which also has you worried? Presently, I see again there is a LOT of potential for growth, success with this idea. Additionally, there is a lot of water energy surrounding you. I want to say that this is love, however, I keep getting that this is a project or creative idea? If you do have something in mind that you have been thinking about creating or moving forward with, this is a good time to do it! What an amazing reading you seem to have recieved--how great!

Are you looking at the cards to give you confirmation? I read what Alabaster had to say and I feel like 3 months is a good time to let things roll along--but I do understand your need for confirmation in the cards.

First time I went to the psychic said " your best friend has feelings for you he cares about you more than just a friend you'll be in a relationship with him within the next few months after he stops talking to one girl, someone in your family has cancer but they'll recover from it, you're going to get accepted to the college of your dreams but you're going to be sad on that same day maybe because a friend won't get in etc " and yes my best friend and I got into a relationship after 3 months, when I got the reading I was like what .. that's not gonna happen, she even told my bff whos ex was this best friend " your ex likes your best friend " my aunt had breast cancer she recovered, I got into the college I wanted to go to on the same day my ex got rejected ..... I'm especially seeing if I can be more specific about upcoming events (but I thought I might need different cards for that, like Lenormand). So basically I want to reach another level

lotus_flower, yes, i'm completely smitten with this guy! It's still very much in the early stages, not too much interaction yet, but when I'm around him, I feel like I can really see myself with him. Then, on the other hand, I try to be realistic and in control of my feelings because I don't know if he feels the same and don't want to be let down. I am just completely drawn to him. And, there is someone else too! He's a very new friend, but I think he is interested in me. Very accurate!

I did a 5 star spread because I feel like while this a fun question, it’s serious also; you want to know how you can grow!
So presently, I feel like you feel at a bit of mental “stalemate” but you are searching for higher wisdom as well. Have you started opening yourself up more to your surroundings, different energy and the like? I feel that while it seems like you are a “stalemate” you really are looking to advance yourself and see tarot from another perspective.

I definitely see that this is a journey that maybe you seriously started thinking about a while ago—but you definitely have your own way of reading! You like the way you read, you just want to change the perspective. I think that if you continue to open yourself to new knowledge and keep an open mind about what Tarot really means to you, you can move to the next level for sure!

Make sure also if you are going to try different forms (ex: lemorand) that they really connect with you because you don’t want to block everything you have learned so far.
At the heart of this matter is Temperance. Does this card come up a lot for you? Temperance balances nicely with the rest of the cards which are present because it reinforces that you have the skills—let them just flow and trust your intuition more! Be patient. Literally this could also mean calling on your guardian angels more to assist you (if that is something you believe in). Moving to the next level also means I think as an advice card, seeing Tarot with fresh new eyes—what first drew you to the cards? Approach them all again with new eyes almost as a beginner would. The cards show you have all the tools you need and you are looking into the future—from this, new ideas will grow! Ultimately, the final card is Queen of Pentacles—need I say more? This shows your contentment in the future with your goal and being accomplished with your new relationship with the cards and studying tarot.

I'll try to see if I can go back to that first moment & look at the cards like that again.
It's true. I do like how I read & for me it's more a starting point at showing people a (not 'the'!) path to selfknowledge.
Maybe Temperance also means I need to balance it more with other activities.

I have in my notes that the 4 of cups fell out of the deck while shuffling--I don't think I mentioned that. This may be the feelings that you are feeling now--keeping your feelings to yourself. The Queen of Wands does mean that you are highly attractive to others now and you are in a position to go for what you want! So with that said, you should go after what you feel is right! I see! This is where the 9 of swords comes from the--the anxiety you feel. But, as a fellow writer myself, I have to tell you to own that creativity! That is a special gift!

As far as the direction, I got extreme creativity--cups mostly. Now, this could mean delving into fiction, OR into something concrete which you are emotionally passionate about. From my perspective why not work on both bit by bit? Or does that suit your writing style??

I completely understand what you mean about your mom--writers draw such criticism, but then everyone reads books right? So someone has to write them! LOL.

The King of Cups which was drawn is very powerful in my opinion. That means that this person will be able to support you emotionally in your creativity. Is there a teacher or even a writing community you can get involved in? This card also reflects you really delving into your creativity.

I completely get what you are saying about Temperance--yes, I agree with that perspective! LOL. When I made that comment about trying other things out, Lenormand did come to mind--but only in the sense that you had mentioned it. However, I did feel that you had the tools to success already and that you should stick to those (not saying that Lenormand is not great or that you aren't good at it. Do you know what I mean?

Also, the card that showed about going back to how you felt when you first go into reading would be the 6 of cups-so looking at from fresh perspective--and remembering your connections to it, is what I was trying to say.

As far as reading, I didn't have a question last week, but I do now. Should I post it here or start a new thread?
