Ruler of 8th house conjunct chart ruler is a good sign since the 8th house rules the occult and they're slightly conjunct the MC which is great and Pluto in 12th is good too.

All I'd say on it is if you feel a calling to do it, do it regardless of what your chart says, you will be good at it!

Thank you.
I really can imagine myself working as an astrologer.
I think that strong 9th house in my natal chart is a good thing too. It is interesting that I have NN there.

I'm basing this on natal only.

I definitely don't see astrology as your main career. As a hobby, sure go for it, but your chart doesn't indicate that would be an ideal choice for a profession. You have a cluster of planets that are far more suited to business/legal oriented work, something that is going to be challenging for you and yet allow you to be strong yet feminine at the same time. Pursuing a career/path that is more male-dominated might even be a good choice because your placements have an innate feminine nature mixed with quite a bit of power and determination. I think, honestly, you'd be good at anything you set your mind to, but your talents might be wasted in astrology (as a hobby, or side job, it'd be ok). You might consider psychology/psychologist if you can - you'd find that you can use your astrologically-oriented thoughts in that field. There is a lot of indecision with your placements, so I'd say pick something you're immensely skilled at and don't be afraid to follow it. A job/career that allows you to concentrate and think, and yet still have variety and fun would be ideal. You might even have a gift with words/writing, so something that incorporates that would work too. I'd stay away from all helping professions (ie nursing, health, etc) and focus more on business, legal, or fields where you can get ahead. There is a big difference between a job and a career and your chart = a career personality. Good luck!

Well, I have huge fears considering my future career.
I'm really hesitant.
I feel like I'm not good enough for something more demanding.
On the other hand, I won't be satisfied with insignificant job.
In general, I lack energy and persistence.
I'm also introvert, but interested in Social Sciences and Humanities. I don't have any sense for Natural Sciences.

Being a professional astrologer and making it your livelihood is HARD.

Ask yourself a few things:

Do I communicate well in writing?
Do I want to run a regular blog?
Am I able to write articles which inform and entertain?
Do I like promoting myself on websites?
Am I willing to do free readings to promote?
Am I able to sign on with a phone line to do readings for little money?
Do I have the patience to continue learning this subject throughout my life?
Am I good with marketing and self-promotion?
Can I run my own business?
Do I manage money well?
Do I have good public speaking skills?
Do I have the flexibility to travel to conventions?

'Being an astrologer' is a full-time job, if you wish to be successful. If the above sounds like you - go to it!

And check where your Urania and Astrowizard are, too.

Yet another example of someone who has allowed Astrology to lead rather than complement life.
The question here is:

DO YOU WANT TO BE AN ASTROLOGER?

That is a question that must be answered using the BRAIN, not a Natal Chart.

You don't need astrology to tell you what you should do.

There are some things you don't need to consult a chart for. This is one of them. We must not allow Astrology to consume us to the point where we are looking to the stars to answer the most trivial of questions.

Hope I helped.

If you can't politely and constructively answer someone, then it is best to not give any answer at all.

Agreed, Regulus. I'm just saying that going pro is tough. STAYING pro is very time-consuming. Hey, if you love it, you love it - but the returns are slow-going and take awhile to materialise. So, much like being a writer, it tends to be a hobby at which you make some money on the side.

To be honest, QS, it really does come down to what you're willing to work for, and how hard. Being a professional astrologer, after all, is work. You typically start out as a psychic, and specialise after you've gained some sort of following. Social networking is your friend there.

Urania is usually found in conjunction with a personal point, or in close aspect to one. I'm not seeing that.

To be frank, Neptune on your MC is what's making you hesitant to choose a career. Good news is - you don't have to. Ever. In today's day and age, you don't have to have a career, so much as you can cobble together a living. Honestly, with Neptune in Capricorn, and Saturn in Aquarius - you could do that fairly well.

Neptune with the NNode does indicate the likelihood of your life's direction involving spirituality, metaphysics, and even art - like photography. I've known a few cinematographers with Neptune-MC.

Granted, your Neptune is on the 9H side of your MC, with your NNode there, too, pointing to more of a philosophical rather than pragmatic drive. Uranus there indicates a lot of instability, too.

You could certainly eke out a living as an astrologer, but you'd need to dedicate and develop the skill set for it. All in all, with a Libra Sun, Leo Venus, and so many 'art' and 'creativity' markers, I'd encourage you to go in the direction of photography, or even digital art and computerised graphics (Saturn in Aquarius in the 10H). Hell, you might even meet your future partner there (with Juno in the 10H).

Having a packed 9H tends to lead one more into publishing, legal careers, and higher education - such as teaching.

Astrology is always somewhere to land, though. It's nice in that you can always pick it back up later. Many times, if you like.

Good luck! You're young, so I wouldn't worry too much.

That was a very constructive answer. Should I have seasoned the post with LOLs and smileys so that no one's feelings were hurt?

We're all adults here. I said nothing nasty, I'm sure the user that posted knows I meant no harm. We're not in first grade.

No, you should have not posted anything at all, because it was quite abrasive. I saw nothing constructive in it.

acctually law would be perfect, saturn in 10th, capricorn MC thats like supreme judge
and yes capricorn is corporative environment, climbing the social ladder

maybe something health oriented, beauty related

also traditionally 9th house was considered an astrology house and u have Uranus there, but if u really wanna do astrology and if u do peoples charts and the feedback is positive u should definitly pursue that, also i dont think being an astrologer can be a fulltime job imo, unless you do the whole shabang like run a blog, lecture and do consultations
