The resonates, definitely. It's been so amazing up to now and while I don't sense really that he's changed, perhaps I have - as I have moved to a deeper place perhaps? Or I've let my guard down more than ever before and it's incredibly frightening, it reaches into my little girl self and pokes at all her fears.

Yes what I didn't tell you is that we dated 22yrs ago - and only by chance reconnected about 2yrs ago. No reason why we stopped dating long ago, when we were in our 20s, it was just one of those things. So our lives have been shaped and we are connected, most definitely.
It took a year before we found an alignment for personal time in our lives for a variety of reasons. It's been a year where we've leaned on each other, more so I've been there for him and there hasn't been much time for my needs, though he is very caring and present and always plans around what I have available and his schedule to squeeze in time however he can.

This one strikes me to a core. Yes, you are very right here, I need to stop doing just that!!! (I'm afraid my face shows it, as my brain goes 'round and 'round) I'm sure it must be hard for him for me to be where he used to be, since he's had to go through so much, depleting all his cash stores in court.

I've got to face this squarely, it seems. It's not easy, let's hope there comes growth. Having a 2nd chance at what we both say how makes us feel so connected and like we are in our own world and we are completely content. I'm willing to let go and let it go. If this is where we are headed. I'm not wanting pain for me or him or his child.
