the connection likely came from the venus conjunct the node. since you don't know TOB it's not possible to see how houses influenced this. but a majority of the things will stay the same and don't show much beyond that connection. when a personal planet comes in contact w/a node or angle it can bring some type of 'karmic'/learning lesson so that might be all it was, especially if it was your venus that was touched.
