I've had a crush on a guy who's worked with my parents for several years. He's around my age. One day I built up the courage to ask him on a date (over the internet), at first he said yes...then before I knew it he stared acting distant & told me he's changing his mind because he's known my parents for so long. But deep down I felt like that was just an excuse... Until he expressed how amazing and wonderful he thinks I am. Now idk how to feel. The connection is intense yet agonizing and stifling.
