So I have sort of a predicament.

I work in the same office as my ex and I worry about running into him every day. He still has a personal item of mine at his place, and I'd really like it back. Haven't really heard from him since I broke it off. Should I wait another three weeks to ask for it back? I'd really like to get our first meeting out of the way...is it a bad idea to do it soon?

I feel like the whole thing is hanging over my head and I think it will drive me crazy over the next three weeks. I already feel apprehensive that he won't be out of my life permanently, that something else will happen but I'm not sure what.

Help? I know I'm not the only one that's struggling with Venus Rx.

I know were strangers but you an I are in a pretty darn similar situation.

My ex has personal items of mine, and soon I'll be seeing him at college. I really don't want to get in contact..am not sure whether to just rip the banaid off or wait until Venus Rx ends.

I hope your situation gets better! Good luck!

I think it depends on where your heart lay right now. Are you over him and really want "just to be done"? Or is there some place in your heart which hopes a meeting might lead to mulling it out and possible reconciliation?

Either motive is fine (and perfectly natural) but you should be clear and honest with yourself about which it is before arranging any meeting, and follow that motivation without second-guessing it in any way.

@Twitter - I'm still listening to electropop! I feel like you are like me - you don't totally want it to be over, but likewise you see no solution to the problem either.

I don't know its just a personal item, it gives you an excuse. It's just something material even if it has sentimentality, its better to be done and stay done. Stay strong - what did you say to me? You just do you.
