Planet Aspects
The Lights: The Sun and Moon
At the time of our birth, the planets (through their configurations and relationships) tell us
something about how things were when we were born. Each planet points to special qualities
within us. Yet, of all the planets, the two most important planets to astrologers are the "lights,"
the Sun and the Moon. From where we stand here on Earth, the great shining Sun by day and
the reflecting Moon at night are our constant companions. They have much to tell us as to
where we have been and where we are headed.
The Sun: Your Self and Future
From the Sun comes light, that which draws us into life. The Sun represents all the changes
we have not yet taken, that part of us that we have not yet experienced but are headed toward.
The Sun represents our identity, or self, in that it is toward these that we are moving and
developing. Thus, it also represents that which we will become: older people, authorities --
those we look toward, or up to. Our essence, or future. Teachers, gurus, and older (more

The External Planets: Mars, Jupiter, Saturn
The major planets outside the Earth's orbit (external to us) are Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
These are the planets of the outer world -- life as we find it outside ourselves. Mars tells us
something about the drive and energy we have, Jupiter shows us how to best channel that
energy, and Saturn decrees what sort of material or territory we will be passing through. Again:
Saturn tells us about the territory we will be going through, Jupiter the way or path through it,
and Mars what kind of push or drive we can count on to keep going.
Mars: Drive and Emotions
Mars is the planet of emotion and inner motivation or drive. When we search for the
meaning of something, life or whatever, it is Mars that urges us on, keeps us searching. Mars
also drives us against things, too and sends us into war and combat. The urgency of Mars, the
search for meaning, is identical to the need for union, yoga, and marriage. Mars is the planet of
union, and marriage is the most common form of yoga. When we have questions about the

Our responsibilities can tend to weigh us down, and we each have our particular ways of
getting around (or breaking through) the mass of obstructions that tends to congeal around us.
The planet that has to do with how we get beyond the difficulties and problems life presents us
is Uranus. Here is the way insights come to us, how we discover or come to know and
understand ourselves. It has to do with finding new uses for old things, and it rules inventions

These include where planets fall by element (earth, air, fire, or water signs), modality (cardinal, fixed, or
mutable signs), or house (angular, succedent, or cadent). Also included are positive and negative (odd or
even) signs. Generally a nice, even distribution is favored, but a preponderance or a lack of any one
flavors a chart in a particular fashion.
Throughout, lack of any element will find the native seeking out those who have extra of the same to
make up for it. Those who lack water tend to be attracted to very emotionally sensitive types, for instance,
which can seem a strange contradiction, since they don't seem to belong together or communicate well.
Similarly, airless types may seek more professorial companions to explain things they don't know and
probably won't understand, anyway. The fireless are often attracted to religion and find themselves
studying the sermon which everyone else knew to ignore in favor of the choir. Earthless are the least
concerned about making up for their lack, and tend to move blissfully ahead, oblivious to their risks --
possibly because they either succeed wildly against the odds, or perish without further ado because of
them.

Fire:
This element concerns inspiration and change, and lots of it makes for
good orators, preachers, singers, motivators, or anything that sets
people on fire and elevates the spirit. Lack of the element may leave
the native unmoved by the usual hype but also not easily stirred when
aspiring to be, as in spiritual quests.
Earth:
This lends solidity and reliability to a chart, keeps your feet on the
ground. A total lack of earth makes for a people who can be extreme
risk takers because they don't really know better. They go where
angels fear to tread, and those same angels bear them up lest they
dash their foot upon a stone -- on a really good day, that is.
Air:
This enables thought and communication, the intellectual side of things.
A lot of air makes for a rather cerebral type, whereas lack of air means
that explaining things may be meaningless. Results, not talk, gut-level
or emotional evaluation may take precedence over logic and careful,
explainable planning.
Water:
This is all about the ability to sense and communicate feelings, and lots
of water makes for emotional types. Lack of water tends to lead to
emotional cluelessness, a problem of not being about to pick up the
usual social cues and unconscious gestures, leading to embarrassment
or faux pas without intending or expecting it.

Cardinal:
Lots of this makes for a very assertive personality, someone who steps
into the breach even if, perhaps, there isn't one. It's great for situations
where independence is a virtue and occasional toe-stepping is not

their qualities. Lack of it tends to make for lack of diplomacy or even an
understanding of the need for it – sometimes lack of manners, simply
for being unable to understand what kind applies to the situation.

Angular:
Planets here are considered stronger, and lots of angularity makes for a
more immediate, forceful presence. None at all tends to create
wallflowers, or at least those who don't jump for the first dance.
Succedent:
Planets here are considered more durable but slower to manifest, and
lots of them make for greater long-term vision and action. Lack of it
leans toward haste or hesitation, people who are on the leading or
trailing edges of the action but not really at the heart of it.
Cadent:
Planets here are traditionally thought to be weaker, or at least less
active compared to other places, and they tend to manifest later rather
than sooner. It's great for fence-sitting and avoiding ill-fated
bandwagons by never actually getting on one or at least getting off fast.
A lack here makes for less flexibility and a certain inability to cover your
back.

Introduction
Grant Lewi (1902 - 1951) is a legendary figure among twentieth century astrologers. He was a
writer and editor for the two largest astrological magazines of the time. His two books, Heaven
Knows What and Astrology for the Millions , were the first astrological books to become best
sellers and even today, over fifty years later, they remain among the best introductions to the
subject of astrology.
The astrological interpretations found in Heaven Knows What and Astrology for the Millions
were unique, fresh, and simple. Llewellyn George, the prominent astrologer of the time, remarked
that Lewi's interpretations must be intuitive because they were unlike any that had been written
before him. Today these interpretations remain energetic and forceful and, though some references
are now dated, Lewi's text still provides some of the clearest insights found anywhere in the
literature of astrology.
Lewi was determined to make astrology more accessible to the average person, but while
popularizing the subject he never watered it down or reduced it to the level found in "sun sign"
astrology. Writing before computers were available, he made his books function as the computer,
providing the reader with tables to generate their own charts or horoscopes and then linking his
interpretations to the information found there. Lewi would have made good use of the computer, so
much in his books seem to anticipate them. In his writing he tried to emulate the interpretation
process by using a computerless version of artificial intelligence: the meaning of a planet in a sign
doesn't stand alone but is modified by the other aspects found in your chart. Many of his comments
depend on a combination of factors and for this reason you will sometimes find that he has
something different to say about an aspect in your chart than he does for the same aspect in your
friend's chart.
This report calculates your chart for you and then collects all of Lewi's comments strictly
according to the astrological factors found there. The text contained here is valid even for those
who don't know their time of birth - Lewi focused on those factors that are in effect throughout the
birthday. The only exception to this is the case of the Moon which can move between 12 and 14
degrees in a day, so if the positions were calculated for noon then the Moon could be as much as 6
or 7 degrees different and possibly even change signs. If you don't know your time and the texts
that involve the Moon seem unlikely, you may wish to compare reports done for the beginning and
the end of the day.
At all times, Lewi’s aim has been to show how astrology can be used as an aid in living a more
satisfying and fulfilling life. Astrology offers indications and pointers - and sometimes insights - to
situations that you find in life. It doesn’t tell you what to do about them, but if it offers you a better
understanding of the situation, then you are in a better position to decide for yourself what to do. To
quote Grant Lewi:
"It is not limitations that eats out the heart, but inaction, the knowledge of powers not used, the
sense of having failed to develop to the utmost. The overcoming of fate is not the overcoming of

limitations: that is impossible. It is the exercise of free will, the assertion of the full self, expanding
to its utmost with the tools at hand, in the circumstances that are set. Astrology, through the
interpretation of the horoscope, assists men to the achievement of their maximum by indicating to
them the lines along which their will may be most progressively applied, the goals to be sought,
and the individual means by which each one may arrive at the outermost boundaries of his world."
Horoscope of Birth
Your horoscope of birth is the blueprint of your personality and character as indicated by the
position of the Sun, the Moon and the eight planets on the date of your birth. This section is
devoted to each of these members of the solar system.
The planets are the antennae and arms of the horoscope, of which the body and soul are the Sun
and Moon. No planet will ever cause you to act counter to the testimony of the Sun and Moon in
their combined influence on you. Remember this when you proceed with the following readings.
All planetary vibration must be considered in light of the basic solar-lunar readings, for these are
your character, your basic nature, which the planets will help or hinder but cannot materially
change.
According to the sign position of your Sun, one planet will be more important than the others
and should probably be read first. Your Sun is in Pisces and your dominant planet is Jupiter (and
Neptune). Not only the action of this ruling planet will be very important in your life, but also the
attribute over which it rules. Thus Gemini, ruled by Mercury, lives a great deal in the senses; Libra,
ruled by Venus, responds most readily to emotional stimuli; and so on. Study your ruler carefully.
Remember in all planetary readings that they work within the pattern of your solar-lunar nature;
never against it. The synthesis of your horoscope from the following series of paragraphs to a
working unit depends on your keeping this in mind, which will enable you to weld all the readings
into a unified and significant whole.
Sun in Pisces and Moon in Capricorn
(You belong to the positive or executive group.)
You are worldly wise, and you combine with your sensitiveness and perceptivity a large
amount of concentrated driving power which impels you to worldly success. You are conscious of
large values, philosophic and abstract concepts, but they are significant to you chiefly in terms of
what use the world can make of them and what use you can make of them in your own progress.
Through being able to combine the ideal and the practical, the abstract and the concrete, you
capture the imagination of men.
You are deeply ambitious, eager that your worth should find recognition in the world; and
through adaptability and a sense of other people's emotions and motives you are likely to go far in
the business or political world. You are daring, though not exactly courageous; you are willing to
take a chance, even when you are timid about the outcome; and you are able to cover over your

inner jitteriness with a great show of bravado. You have a strong personality, considerable reserve,
and a good deal of secretiveness; before you take people into your confidence you work things out
in your own mind till the plans are complete. You are in this way an executive, a planner, and a
doer, able both to do yourself and to get others to do for you. You are strong for duty and the
fulfilling of obligations, and your word is as good as your bond; similarly you expect every man to
do his duty and won't brook loafing on the job in those who work for you. Emotionally you are a
most satisfactory person, both sensitive and reserved and not generally demanding much from those
you love except fair treatment and a judicious amount of affection. You are only moderately
jealous, but can appear more so if you want to make a point. You are something of an actor,
anyway, and you have an accurate sense of the audience you are dealing with.
You rise to great influence and power, with probability of wealth.
Material things are important to you, though with this materialism you combine a philosophic
approach to things that makes you a balanced and interesting, as well as a successful, person.
Sun
The Sun indicates the appearance you will present before the world and the psychological bias
which will dominate your actions. What you seem, and why, are told in the reading for your Sun. In
many ways the Sun is the dominant force in your horoscope and in your life. Other influences,
especially that of the Moon, may modify the Sun's influence, but nothing will cause you to depart
very far from the basic solar pattern. For this reason a whole literature and a whole business have
grown up around Sun-sign astrology; and many people exist who think there is nothing more to the
horoscope than knowing what "sign you were born in" and what the Sun in that sign means. This is
a mistake, as you will discover when you have read the influence of the other bodies. But
throughout your reading, keep in mind always the basic influence of the Sun, and remember that all
other influences must be interpreted in terms of it, especially in so far as other influences play a
visible role in your life. You may think, dream, imagine, hope to be a thousand things, according to
your Moon and your other planets, but the Sun is what you are, and to be your best self in terms of
your Sun is to cause your energies to work along the path in which they will have maximum help
from planetary vibrations.

Pisces seeks salvation within himself, striving always for self-sufficiency, self-knowledge and effacement of self.
His aim is deep and worthy, and if he does not succeed, it is because of the difficulty of the goal rather than because he
does not try. His early aim appears material, because he knows instinctively that the search for self goes on most
successfully if physical wants are not a source of worry. But he is not always equipped by nature for the give-and-take
of commerce, and often feels himself a failure when he should not. His "failure" is more often than not that of a square

peg in a round hole. When he finds his noncommercial place of service, love, understanding, he
goes far toward the deep kind of satisfaction that is his personal, and therefore his true, success.
Because his aim is different, he tries ill-advisedly to accommodate himself to what he thinks he
ought to be instead of following what his heart and instinct tell him. And because he wishes deeply
to do the right thing, he becomes confused about his true aims and gets bewildered and lost in the
business of living. It all comes about because he has forgotten the stir, small voice - because he has
allowed himself to be distracted from his true desires - and because in following an uncongenial
and unfamiliar path his feet stumble. He thinks he is misunderstood - but this is true only because
he misunderstood himself, tried to palm himself off for something that he wasn't, and found he
didn't have the heart to go through with it. When he is being his truest, deepest self he is crystal
clear - unselfish, sweet, lovable, devoted, demanding little, giving much, eager always to sacrifice
himself for others.
It is only in the presence of the material world, when Pisces tries to submerge the sweetness
which he may come to be ashamed of, that he is unhappy. It is then that he becomes demanding,
jealous, unreliable, self-deceived and perhaps even deceptive-because he is trying to force his
meditative spirit into a harness where it must try to be something it isn't. Let Pisces follow his heart,
his conscience, his inner desire for service, self-realization and self-knowledge, and the world be
damned, and he is the happiest, most useful of mortals, living comfortably with deep spiritual truths
that give him an almost mystic grip on other people and on the reins of his own life.
Following are the aspects to your Sun. In a general way, the trines and sextiles to your Sun
make ease, contentment, happiness, luck; while squares and oppositions give you energy, drive,
success, ambition. Conjunctions bring both energy and luck, and are translatable in terms of
whether the Sun receives squares or trines, along with the conjunction. Similarly, squares and trines
to the Sun together bring success through work and perseverance, and luck develops in proportion

Sun Conjunct Venus Orb: 08°24'
You are popular, a favorite with the other sex, with a robust magnetism and fire to your
personality that comes from high good spirits, and a sort of all-pervading optimism and good
fellowship. In a woman's horoscope this will give you more than your share of admirers, and they
will have good financial and social backgrounds; girls with this position generally marry above
their station without sacrificing love. Women under this aspect frequently trip to the altar with the

Sun Sextile Saturn Orb: 00°03'
You are lucky, coming of good stock and being born into a favorable environment. Elders have
done a good deal for you, and no matter how poor your parents may have been or how rich, they
have seen to it that responsibility was removed from you as much as possible and that the hardships
of life did not touch you. You have a good sound body and mind. You are serious without being
dejected or depressed, and are capable of concentrated effort. Look out, there is a tendency to
relaxation and absence of direction and purpose - luck helps you out, but you don't seize or create
opportunities. The tendency of this aspect is to smugness and self-satisfaction, pride and relaxation
of ambition and energies, so that, despite a sound mind in a sound body, you don't seem to get very
far. You have lots of luck with very little effort; maximum return for minimum work, and material
security.
Sun Sextile Uranus Orb: 07°10'
One of the indexes of long life, a strong physical heredity, and vitality. In addition to these
physical qualities, you have a progressive mental outlook, strongly tinged with originality, and any
plans that you organize will be pushed through with a certain dash and comprehension of total
results that knits the parts together strongly. Organization, either of undertakings or of knowledge,
is your strong point. You see things in the large rather than the particular. This position makes you
a leader of thought and action. Your originality is not tinged with the bizarre, but has a wholesome
practical quality about it. You are a very expansive person, looking at things in the large. You'll

Sun Sextile Neptune Orb: 00°00'
Your emotional and intellectual sides are nicely blended and give you a good deal of quiet
charm and magnetism. Your intuitions are strong, and your critical faculties are aided by innate
good taste. You are likely to have the wish to create artistically, but this aspect alone will not bring
the power, though if other aspects to the Sun, Moon, Venus, and Mercury show creative powers,
this will materially aid their expression and help to bring recognition. You have in any case a
genuine appreciation for beauty, poetry, and music and will be found among the patrons of art

Sun Trine Pluto Orb: 03°15'
Your desire to live life to the fullest helps you to learn easily and to make any changes
necessary to achieve your ends, which are likely to bring advancement both to you and those

Moon
While the Sun's position by sign determines what motives and urges dominate your life as it
meets the naked eye, the sign position of the Moon tells the desire of your heart which may or may
not be expressed or realized in your life. When you "know what you mean but you can't say it," it is
your Moon that knows it and your Sun that can't say it. "Thoughts that do often lie too deep for
tears" are the thoughts of your Moon's nature. The wordless ecstasy, the mute sorrow, the secret
dream, the esoteric picture of yourself that you can't get across to the world, or which the world
doesn't comprehend or value - these are the products of the Moon in your horoscope. When you are
misunderstood, it is your Moon nature, expressed imperfectly through the Sun sign, that you feel is
betrayed. When you know what you ought to do, but can't find the right way to do it, it is your
Moon that knows and your Sun that refuses to react in harmony. Also, when you "don't know why I
said that," it was your Moon expressing despite your Sun (if you are innerly satisfied with the
involuntary speech), or the Sun expressing against the will of the Moon (if you are displeased with
what has slipped out). Things you know without thought - intuitions, hunches, instincts - are the
products of the Moon. Modes of expression that you feel are truly your deepest self belong to the
Moon: art, letters, creative work of any kind; sometimes love; sometimes business. Whatever you
feel is most deeply yourself, whether or not you are able to do anything about it in the outer world,
is the product of your Moon and of the sign your Moon occupies at birth.
Moon in Capricorn
You conceive yourself as a practical, hardheaded individual who can compete successfully with
the world on its own terms and who finds therein his deepest satisfaction and greatest success. The
game itself, rather than the stakes, interests you; you aren't likely to be grasping of money, but you
will fasten onto all the power in sight. The security of your soul lies in authority. As a result your
chances of success are great, because you don't have to do any play-acting in looking for it: the
contest is the very breath of your spirit. Some of the greatest leaders of the world have Moon in
Capricorn, and owe their success to the image of success that always plays on their mind. Sad are
the cases of Moon in Capricorn who get the image inverted: whose great inner need is no less for
success, but who feel themselves frustrated and incapable ever of achieving it, and who in
consequence become bitter and hard in failure. The free flow of your intuitions, if you don't try too
hard, will carry you where you want to go. Your instinct may not be for kindness, charity,
fellowship, love, but in your depths you won't miss these when you command authority and respect.
Dare to be yourself, to seek what you want by the means that are required, even if being true to
yourself means being false to softer things required by softer people. You are cast for a certain role
and must play in character if you are to get yourself over the footlights. You can't sway the
audience by acting another part: they spot phoniness quickly. But they will recognize the power of
your true role when you play it truly. And, as you must never forget, to win recognition as an

Moon Sextile Venus Orb: 01°49'
You are gracious and no doubt easy to look at. If you are a woman you are probably a social
leader; if a man, a favorite with the social leaders. You probably were born to a good social status -
or if not, you are a lucky child who rises far above your original social level. It is one of the
positions for material luck and always keeps you from the worst degrees of want. You can make a
little go a long way if you have to, but if you don't have to, your patrician taste can prove expensive
in matters of dress, house furnishings, and personal adornments. You wouldn't live in a shabby
place, and even when times are hard, would have a home of grace, charm, and (somehow) of
luxury. It is one of the indexes of a happy marriage, and even if other indications are unfavorable,
this will in some degree give happiness in the married state. In a male horoscope, gives a beautiful
and talented wife; in a female horoscope, gives thes qualities to the native herself.
Moon Conjunct Uranus Orb: 03°03'
You are one of the outstanding people of your circle. You are a character; with markedly
individualistic traits, original, fearless in thought and expression, a trifle eccentric,
uncompromisingly independent. Given a choice of two modes of conduct, a usual and an unusual,
you will unhesitatingly select the unusual, the unconventional, the aggressive. You lean to the
bizarre, the revolutionary, the daring, so that in a constructive, creative, or executive horoscope,
you become an important person, respected for your intelligence and authority, and somewhat
feared because no one ever knows what you are likely to do nest. You gain extraordinary prestige
through the original exercise of mentality is shown. So idealistic and expansive is your mental
outlook that money is of secondary importance to you, though you know how to spend it - or rather,

Mercury
Mercury is the sense-impression antennae of your horoscope. His position by sign indicates
your reactions to sights, sounds, odors, tastes and touch impressions, affording a key to the attitude
you have toward the physical world around you. Mercury is the messenger through which your
physical body and brain (the Sun) and your inner nature (the Moon) are kept in contact with the
outer world, which will appear to you according to the index of Mercury's position by sign in the
horoscope.
Mercury in Aquarius
All your senses are keen, alert, strong and sensitive. There is a robustness about your

contemplation of the real world that is not injured by a very keen sense of beauty. Your great
ability is to see beauty in things without finding it necessary to deny their reality. Conversely, you
make all useful things as beautiful as possible and thus believe in the utility of art and the art of
utility. Nothing real is likely to be offensive to you if it has a use; you will smell the odors of a
pigsty less than others because you are thinking of bacon rather than of filth. But on the other hand,
the beauty of an army will leave you cold because you will shudder at the slaughter. Your sense
reactions are conditioned by a rugged and realistic approach to experience that causes you to regard
everything you see, hear and touch in the light of your appraisal of its utilitarian and artistic merits,
and little reaches you through the senses without passing through this nicely balanced court of
values.
Mercury Square Mars Orb: 06°43'
You have a keen, scientifically sharp mind and a tongue of rapier-like speed - and edge. You
can, and do, say cutting things. You don't mince words. Despite your excellent mental equipment,
you may not develop intellectual gifts, for you are prone to jump to conclusions. Where intuitive

You tend to be dogmatic, stubbornly resisting change and other people's ideas. In your early
years, you may have rebelled against the discipline of learning; now, you may consider yourself
slow or stupid, when your only problems are a lack of openness to new ideas and a lack of
concentration. Once you apply your mind to the subjects that are important to you, you can become
a self-made person. You should think before you speak, since you can put people off with an
unintentional brusqueness. Intentional sharpness or sarcasm when angry can lose you the support
you've worked hard to gain. Be as sensitive to other people's feelings as you are to your own. One

Venus
Venus is the emotional antenna of your horoscope. Through Venus, impressions come to you
from the outer world because of which you feel and react emotionally. The position of Venus by
sign at the time of your birth gives the key to your attitude toward these emotional experiences. As
Mercury is the messenger linking sense impressions (sight, smell, etc.) to the basic nature of your
Sun and Moon, so Venus is the messenger linking emotional impressions. Venus is in the same sign
with your Sun; emotions gain importance in your life, having a direct bearing on your actions and
generally causing you to put your best foot forward.
Venus in Pisces
Your response to emotional stimuli is a good deal deeper than you are able to get across to
those you love. What you feel is difficult for you to express, and frequently you are misunderstood

and imposed on because of this. Your muscles react to emotional stimuli - your impulse is to do
something for the loved one, to run errands, give presents; and you get genuine joy from the giving.
Your judgment of people isn't too good; this is because your deepest interest is in your emotions for
their own sake, and secondarily in the person on whom they are fixed. As a result they frequently

Sexual matters are the main manifestation of Pluto in Scorpio. There has been an alarming
spread of the AIDS virus. Questions arise and demand consideration about what constitutes safe,

aspects that he considered to be the most significant and only those are shown in this report. The
dates shown only represent the times when the aspect is exact; its influence is felt for weeks,
months, and sometimes even years around this time. A planet will often make the same aspect
several times in one year before it leaves that area of the zodiac and moves on. This is due to the
planet appearing to go backward or retrograde for a period of time and crossing and recrossing the
aspect point. When this happens the effect of the aspect can be spread out over a considerable time
and in this report the aspect and text will be printed for each time it becomes exact, although this
series of aspects represents only one pass through this phase of its cycle. Remember that each

The cycle for a planet is the time it takes that planet to travel the entire 360° of the zodiac,
beginning at the point where the planet is found at birth (the conjunction point), moving to the 90°
point which Lewi calls the "lower square", then moving to the opposition or 180° point. Then it
begins to move back towards the starting point, at the 270° point, or 90° away from the starting

transits, whether of a planet to its own place or of one planet to another, mark cycles of growth
beginning at the conjunction point, growing through the first square, fully grown at the opposition
point, beginning to recede at the second or upper square, and finally starting a new cycle as it
reaches the conjunction point again.
How long any aspect will be in effect is determined by the speed of the planet making the
aspect (the first planet , i.e. Mars in Mars Opposite Sun). One Mars cycle is about two or two and
one-half years and so a Mars aspect will last about 20 to 30 days. Jupiter takes about 12 years for
its cycle and so its aspects could last around 4 months, while Saturn with a 29 year cycle will last 9
months or even more if it turns retrograde. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are all long range aspects
and usually represent a time of 2 or more years. While Saturn and the outer planets indicate long
range influences in your life, Mars aspects will identify important months and Jupiter will identify
important years. Not every occurrence of these will be of striking importance. But within a larger
Saturn cycle or Uranus period of great importance, these briefer influences will be found to act as

Your first reaction to any changes coming into your life is to hold onto those things which once
symbolized security for you and which now seem to be under attack. But your perspective is
narrowed now, so you aren't able to look at changes as opportunities. The high premium you place
on security may prove detrimental to your growth, since you tend to equate what you have with
what you are. Try not to react automatically when something you've cherished seems to be
threatened. Look closely to see if you really do need that object or person or idea to be happy and
