Hi,

Can anyone pull a few cards for me? I just started working with a fysiotherapist/chiropracter for tensed muscles etc. & now my whole body hurts like hell.
Any insight on this, words of encouragement and/or what would be helpful during this process appreciated.

Preferably by someone with experience pulling/interpreting cards.

thanks !

It is exhausting work, do not take it too lightly. Not just for the physical strength and endurance you must have, but also due to the energy exchange between you and the patients. Healers often deal with that, especially the more sensitive, empathetic people. I have headaches.

Sorry I would rather not pull cards because I am right before a medical procedure myself and not in a very balanced mind frame.

Congrats on the job though! I would give it a bit more time.

I'll pull a few cards but let me say that you should ice your muscles. ASAP. Alternate with it on and off. Does the chiro use an ultrasound machine first or just come at you and make adjustments?

Eight of Cups - Empress - Knight of Pentacles - Eight of Wands

In the past you realized that you were unable to help yourself and you needed to abandon your hopes of things getting better on their own. You may not feel it now, but you made a good decision for yourself. You will eventually feel abundant and healthier. It seems like it will take a while but after lots of work and pain you will suddenly start feeling better.

Does this help? Feel better soon Twirl. Remember that muscle tension has a psychological element that you should also tend to.

Hi

Thanks for the response Hera! Appreciated
I think I wrote it down wrong: I'm not working for him but I am his patient. So he is working on my back & it hurts terribly. I was sent to him by my doctor.
I took asperins, because I can't focus much on the readings I do & I am buying a new bed.

Thanks!
Yes. This really helps! And very accurate as well, because I even do daily yoga & such to see if I can release the tension on back & shoulder area (but couldn't do more) But I also have headaches now etc. I think because of the toxins being released (and I bought detox tea).
I just really don't know how to sit or stand currently and I can't focus well on readings..
But thanks, really good cards & good developments in the slowly improving.
I also considered doing Bikram yoga (in a heated space).

I can pull some cards for you later on
Thanks!!

Hey

Everyone in my family has been going to Thai massage masters and it helped every time. The only precaution to take is to double check the masseuse is properly certified I guess

Btw I meant to give you feedback re: me delaying everything yes I tend to have a rather what's the point attitude, but I'm planning to shape up

By the way, he did use all kinds of warming up the muscles before, etc.
What psychological side effects would come with 12-14 years of tension releasing?

Just leave a message
I will be looking into them later on.
I also bought some new arch angel cards to go along with the tarot message so I would like to test them.

I had one Thai massage once. It was brilliant. I'm sure she had some other qualifications too, lol.
What feedback is that? about your projects? And the 'book'-card I pulled?

Oh it's good that he treats the muscles first. I just meant that there is some internal emotional stress that is causing the tension. You can't just treat the tension without treating or trying to work through the stress you feel.

My question(s) are sort of complicated. I'm trying hard to move forward from my relationship with my ex, but I feel like the darkness of the relationship is still following me around. I can't seem to get the perspective/hope to move forward. Kind of like the 10 of wands. I worry that he'll pop back up into my life again and I will have to make a decision about how to respond to him. I'm also trying online dating again, but it doesn't seem like that will be very fruitful.

I guess my question is, how will this cloud lift? what can I hope for? where's the light at the end of the tunnel?

If the pain is REALLY bad, you should take one ibuprofen, as it works a lot better on the pain than aspirin. The Salonpas patches work WONDERS too. If you can find a way to ice the area of most discomfort, that should also alleviate the backache.

If the pain doesn't go away, go to a doctor. A couple of years back I pulled a back muscle and I had to take pain medication through injection four times to be able to even walk, so I know your pain, Twirl!

Hope you feel better soon!

Hi Twirl,

I pulled
A helpful person-in this case the chiro/physio
Alchemy-this card to me emphasized "touch" which has to do with the actual massaging
Rochelle-I always interpret this card as listen to your heart
Zana-you are protected from all types of harm, relax, you are safe. What stood out here too was the image of a heart.

From this I would say that the massage has triggered some emotional issue, may be related to love not sure. The pain is a "good" thing as it has made you aware of some issue that has surfaced. You are healing. Know that you are safe & feel safe to release what emotions or energy are causing you this physical pain.

Please let me know if this resonates.

yes, that one! i havent been to this board since that day, when i was playing bridge and watching ballon d'or, so yes, that must be the day anyway, i am making haste as best i can, so yeah and thanks again

my brother practices some martial art or other so he's had this muscular spasm thing, and he's been doing this for quite a while to get back to normal, used to be in pain all the time, whereas now he can drive a car and whatnot. anyway i've been observing these treatments helping everyone even tho no idea how it works

i tried once and guess what was too hard on my frail frame, but i think i might go soonish, since i might have a problem in my spine after riding ze board too carelessly.

the remark on qualifications is just my paranoia, bc i always double check everything like a total nutcase (book a plane ticket, then call the company to double check, check in online and call them again to double check, that kind of thing)

Thanks for empathising on the emotions, just like Twitterbird. I really didn't think of it this way, but I will pay attention to it. At the very least it should 'open something up'. I'm not feeling any heart breaks of old emotional pains... I will pay attention, because it does make sense.
The heart you saw relates to the chest, because I feel it both front & back.
Very helpful & supportive message again.
Thank you

Hi

I asked what I should know about this. First up is fear... It really is time 'to leave the safe haven' and start arranging a life you want for you! It really is safe to start working on your own life and your wishes (in regards to love and/or whatever other dreams you have for yourself). It's actually an opportunity. The 'problem' is that you see your ex as the 'vicor' who will always get his way.
That is only if you let (!) him. And you know of yourself (or you think (!) ) of yourself that you will be easily influenced by him. So just remain distant and do not look for situations he is in, but take care of yourself in this matter.
You can resist that...
For now it looks quiet & calm, but I think he will try to conquer you in future. You will be better of without him in my opinion... So just stay on guard and decide not to hear him out/get close...

Hope this helped. Love to hear how it resonated...

ps) tried my new cards for this... So I might still be adjusting...

I'm trying to build up my own life now but I feel like what I want is impossible and out of reach. I do see what you're saying about it being an opportunity. I'm trying to turn things around.

I've been keeping my distance thus far and haven't reached out, trying to guard myself as best as I can. I'm getting a lump in my throat and my neck is tensing up just thinking of him trying to "conquer" me. A big part of me would love to hear him apologize or try to make things right. I doubt my ability to shut him out completely because of my emotions. It just makes me uneasy thinking about it. Do you think the last part might have something to do with someone new coming into the picture instead? Whether it's a friend or lover that can help?

I keep having this lingering feeling that I haven't heard the last of this. I don't know if that's real or not, but it doesn't seem to be helping me.

Thanks for the reading, as always.

How long were you together?
And was he faithful in the past? (Not saying I am seeing that).
I might read on it with my other cards...
What basically is happening now is that it may be too much to fully let in right now. So you are not fully facing the situation yet, but you will in future & I think you will be pretty content in the future with your own company.
Didn't look at any other partners yet.

We were together for 5 months. It's sort of murky about whether he was faithful because I didn't discuss exclusivity with him until the night we broke up. He said he had been dating other women, but I kind of think that is BS. He never was very open with me, so I have really no idea what the truth is.

Think he may have been dating some others actually.
