Oof!The Eight of Cups, the Nine of Swords.The Emperor Seems like there will be somewhat negative opposition happening here, i am not sure from the daughter or actually your own fear resurfaces from past hurts? Seems like at the current path there is a chance they will meet but it will be slim. But can be overcome if your love interest is determined or if he actually is the one who initiates/keep on it. But it has to be from him, not your encouragement (if it makes sense?) It will be a bit of a rocky road, but success will be there if he keeps on it. The ball is on his court (his patience/determination) You can ask another question if you'd like My question will be : Now that everything is in motion, what is the general tone of my upcoming long trip would be? Well...I pulled King of Clubs, 8 of Clubs, 2 of Spades as your primary cards. Together, they tell me that you will likely meet a man on your trip (fun, carefree, possibly a fire sign with dark hair?); but I'd encourage you not to take him too seriously. Enjoy his company but don't allow him to distract you from your tasks at hand - it could very well compromise your performance (I'm getting this is a trip for business and/or learning?) and counteract your goals in taking the trip to begin with!I pulled the Queen of Hearts, 6 of Diamonds and 8 of Hearts as clarifiers; They tell me that if you'll listen to your own inner mother (i.e, your better judgment), you should be able to keep him and the whirlwind he seems to bring along in perspective. Hope this helps. And yes, the reasoning behind my question is that my daughter (18) is fiercely protective of me, has yet to meet any man I've dated over the last five years (because none have been serious enough to warrant it); but I'm thinking some things may be coming up this year with this gentleman which are going to require their meeting (travel, specifically). It's necessary that she feel integrated and prioritized in what I rather expect is going to be a rather revolutionary next few months for me, and I worry that she won't. He doesn't have children of his own at all, so I'm not sure he will have a concept for that need of priority, though it's one I'll insist upon. Do you suppose that might be the conflict you see? Oh I remember you pulled the same guy from your previous reading! King of clubs. Well I am definitely meeting him but only for a few days ;p He is Libra, but he does have dark hair.
The conflict I see, yes the opposition is from your daughter then, especially since she is older (18). But seems like the only way it will dissipate is if your love interest is determined to make things right (aka your daughter's opposition doesnt deter him)
There is little you can do about the situation, because the ball is on his court aka the outcome of this situation is pretty much on his hands and how he would treat your daughter I pulled another 3 cards for you, IF your man react positively (or patiently), this will be the outcome: the King of Swords, the Six of Cups, and the High Priestess. Seems like a positive outcome- your daughter will learn a lot from this encounter, there will be some kind of healing process.

Interesting! I pulled King of Spades, 9 of Hearts and 6 of Hearts as your primaries. 9/Hearts indicates a wish coming true, references the previous card (King/Spades) for clarity. It seems there may be another man coming into your life once you return! My sense tells me he'll be quite impressive, but you'll have to set your boundaries with him early on and STICK TO THEM! 6/Hearts predicts someone taking a warm interest in you. The three clarifiers pulled were 7 of Clubs, Ace of Diamonds and that good ol' King of Clubs again! The 7/Clubs and Ace/Diamonds indicate business success, possible promotion and raise, but that you may expect some relationship issues. I think this is where your King/Clubs may still fit in - he's a tenacious one, this man! Just remember: set clear boundaries and stick with them. Let me know how all of this goes! IP: Logged |
