Yes, I do have a path in mind that I'm pursuing, so it's good to hear that this will lead me to some rewards. I write amateurish, but I haven't been working with anyone, so this person is coming to the scene. This all sounds very auspicious and I so hope it comes to fruition, Britannia!

We're not exactly having an "open conflict", but there's a hidden tension, I can definitely feel it... And the reason is precisely what you have mentioned. I think that would apply to both of us. Even more so him than me (from what I can pick up from my own instinct, anyway). We both feel cautious towards getting closer, but it's nothing personal really, I don't think... I can only speak for myself: part of me wants to make a move but another part of me is fearful that it may not work out and that I screw up. Plus I'm not sure of his intentions or that I should trust him... Also, I feel he is attracted to me and wants to get closer but I also feel he is so fearful of doing so... It really puts me off and I don't know what to do!

I think you may be right when you say he hasn't acknowledged that I'm interested in him. Unfortunately, I have the best poker face you can imagine, lol! But I was pretty obvious in the past, though... Or I think I was, anyway, lol. I believe he is a bit insecure too, so it may be difficult for him to actually realize that someone is interested in him.
