what i see here is that allen is interested more in security/physical aspect of this relationship. he is not sure if he would be able to keep you around if you two get into a relationship or not. he seeks security and he has been thinking about it for quite a bit. also you need to acknowledge your intuition and follow what your inner voice is telling you regarding this. he seems to be interested but concerned more about security and stability of this relationship in the material sense.

I get it he comes from a more blue color background and I don't. Plus he is really good friends with my brothers and sister so it might be that aspect too... its just been strange activity coming from him lately and there was a year ago when we first got reconnected but I knew he was working things out with his girlfriend who he had a child with and I now know they're engaged..... and yet like maybe a week ago find me on Facebook and all this stuff starts happening, so IM like what the hell now I'm totally confused. so security part might also be coming from him feeling the need to stay where he's at.....I don't know, shh...men!

I think that's pretty accurate. I dunno if I'm super confident, but I feel like I have no choice but to move forward.
