I should preface by saying this: as I was shuffling the words "reticence" and "nervous" came through very clearly, so I was a little nervous about this draw. BUT!... Ace/Diamonds, 3/Clubs, 5/Clubs are fantastic! A/D is significant of change, most often in a good way. 3/C and 5/C tel of love, happiness, new friendships, longterm propositions...I really believe you're in for a rather sizable evolution!! 7/Diamonds warns of a minor skirmish, perhaps over money; but this should be ironed out without too much fuss and 8/H is symbolic of an unexpected gift or visit.

To address the question itself, I pulled Queen/Spades, 2/Diamonds, 9/Clubs. To me with in this context, the Q/S represents you in a very sorrowful state right now - the sorrow seems to be something you fight off, often hide behind a mask of bravery, but haven't really dealt with head-on.

The 2/D tells me that someone is your ear, compounding your sorrow. Though it's not malicious, they need to stop - it's empty gossip which is feeding an infection. So you need to stop listening sweet lady.

The 9/C tells me that now is actually a pretty opportune time to pour yourself into a project you've been brewing quietly. It will pay off emotionally, spiritually, socially and financially for you to do so right now. I hope this helps dear. Any further questions, please let me know.

I think your reading is accurate. I do feel sorrowful at the moment but I spent so much time already dwelling on the pain I've decided to distract myself and focus on other things. I wonder whether the project you speak of is at work, personal or the online dating I've been doing. (which to be clear I see as more of an exercise in really figuring out what I want and need).

I think you received some kind of information that caused a shake-up in your life. Unexpected events that are changing how you think of things.
