Hello everyone!

So I got to know this Piscean guy a few days ago, we had a great date but as all of you probably know, there is a bad reputation when it comes to Pisces males (they lie, they make you fall in with them with compliments and then drift away etc etc). Is it really that bad? I really wanna trust this guy and he seems like the good type. I know that astrology isn't everything when it comes to getting to know and trust a person but it tells a lot.. What do you think? Here is some other info about him & me. (I don't know his birth hour :/ )

Him (3 March 1988)

Sun Pisces
Moon Virgo
Mercury Aquarius
Venus Aries
Mars Capricorn
Jupiter Aries
Saturn Capricorn
Uranus Capricorn
Neptune Capricorn
Pluto Scorpio

Me (7 August 1990, 14:00)
Sun Leo
Ascendant Scorpio
Moon Aquarius
Mercury Virgo
Venus Cancer
Mars Taurus
Jupiter Cancer
Saturn Capricorn
Uranus Capricorn
Neptune Capricorn
Pluto Scorpio

My 4th house is in Pisces but I don't know about the placement of houses in his natal chart since I don't know his birth time..

There's always a nebulous aspect, but they're also quite intuitive. Pisces men are a mixed bag, leo females can scare away gentle sensitive pisces as they can come across as domineering.

When it comes to relationships, I feel more associated with the water signs (Scorpio asc and cancer venus) to be honest.. I don't like to dominate in relationships nor do I want a lot of attention or show-off (like most leo women want). But my heart was broken a lot of times and I cannot trust anyone easily

Last year I had a fling with a cancer guy (That's how I signed to this forum, hehe ) and he was a typical cancer.. Very sensual and loving but always hiding in his shell and he just left out of my life. I don't want anyone to mess up with me again

Nevertheless, I read stuff about leo woman pisces man compatibility and it's not good, hehe I like to talk and talk and talk and he's not so talkative, he seems more quiet than I am..

Not all leos are domineering.

Your cancer venus and taurus mars mean you're quite stable and like long-lasting familiar things, you naturally like to 'build' to nurture and receive care. He sees the scorpio ascendant, but underneath the ascendant layer you're still a fire sign. Exuberant, giving, boastful, proud, kind etc. Pisces often are better suited to other water signs. There's also a nebulous aspect to them so watch out.

pisces men I can think of were practical, organized, solid husbands and fathers but they could be emotionally distant, escapist and slip-away to avoid any real confrontation with passive aggressive maneuvers that could drive you nuts (and maybe have another family in another country if he's at sea a lot.) No major drugs, alcohol or violence.
I know four p-males married to extremely expressive women; two sagittaria, one leo and one scorpio.
Pisces females, I'm ashamed to say, completely embody the stereotype. We're all liars and drunks, and probably become nurses or rescue stray animals and people when we're older.

I had a horrible experience with a Pisces guy once. Intense sexual attraction, we met in a bar while I was actually on a date with another guy (who nothing had happened with btw). So the next night I went on a date with the Pisces guy. He was American (I'm British) and in London for a few days on business. Anyway it was pretty exciting, and then he went back to America and we exchanged contact details.

So several months later I was actually visiting NY for a couple of weeks, where he lived, so we arranged to meet up and I actually stayed at his apartment. At first the chemistry was there again, but then suddenly, he turned. I cannot explain it really. First off, on my first evening we went out to dinner and he was asking things like "have you got any investments?" (he was a stockbroker by profession), that his goal was to be a millionaire by the age of 30 (materialistic, I thought) and then said weird things like he never ate eggs because he didn't like the idea of eating something that came out of an animal's bottom. (ok, I'm thinking, this guy is a bit humourless). Then the following night we went out clubbing with a female friend of his and some other work pals of his (the female friend was very nice to me but his work buddies were completely unfriendly, I suspected one of the female ones had the hots for him and was jealous.. anyway). So I just felt uncomfortable and we didn't have a great night, also his behaviour was becomingly increasingly aloof.

So in the end I felt so crap about the situation I moved out of his apartment and stayed with his female friend who I had liked. I spent a day wallowing in my self-pity and humiliation that it hadn't worked out with this guy. I stayed over at her place then the following day he came over and was trying to get me to go back to his apartment. I refused. The rest of my stay there I just explored NY a bit before coming home.

His behaviour was just weird - passionate one minute then icily cold the next. I heard that his father had left the family home when he was a baby, so not sure whether that had an effect on him.

In the end I believe he married a rich socialite woman in NY and had two kids with her, I found a wedding news piece online once.

So anyway, Pisces men, not for me really! haha

@wishfish, yeah that's true about pisces males. But I think we need some time to get to know each other, then I will understand what kinda person he is. I am also an escapist myself. I have devoted my energy and passion before in my previous relationships but it never worked so I learned to put my distance a bit. It really kills me when I put so much energy and then I am out of energy in the end while the guy kinda 'sucks' my energy and moves on.. So I am also distant for now.. We have a lot in common which I love but we are also opposite when it comes to some other stuff, that was my first impression.
About pisces females.. Hmm, that's interesting because my mom is a typical pisces female (moon aries, ascendant taurus) and she doesn't like alcohol and she is completely honest; as a matter of fact, she's sometimes too rational and honest that I really want her to say what I wanna hear D That's kinda bizarre but yeah. She's really strict with some stuff but she's a perfect mother, she's a family woman.

@Jo B, I'm sorry about that experience That sounds like the typical pisces male that I have read about.. Of course as I stated before, the upbringing, family roots, friends etc have a lot of effect on a person..
I know that Pisces male are really dark and dreamy... Hmm...

Lol, it's ok. It was years ago and I put it all down to experience. I felt for him on a human level, when I heard that his father had abandoned the family when he was a baby, but it just goes to show that physical attraction and then getting to KNOW someone are completely different things. He and I just weren't on the same page mentally.

you are claiming to not be very Leo, and that is your sun sign. In the same way he might not be like his sun sign either. His only placement in pisces is the sun and that isn't a great personality indicator; a sun pisces is very different than a mars/venus/moon pisces - those are where the liars and cheaters and escapists really live. He actually has a more aggressive venus (aries) and two stable signs in virgo and cap.

That's what I think as well I can see the aries in him actually, I am quite curious about how this will turn out

this is a link to a list of famous Pisces men and some interpretation. They seem to run the full spectrum (Alan Greenspan and Marion Berry) but somehow it all makes sense!
George Harrison, Jack Kerouac, Jon Bon Jovi, Robe Lowe, James Taylor, Ansel Adams, Alan Rickman, Einstein, Segovia, Mario Andretti, Johnny Knoxville, Chopin, Ravel, Benecio Del Toro, Billy Corgan, The Bieber, Will.I.am, William H. Macy, and George Washington.

Desi Arnez x Lucille Ball (Leo)
Kurt Russel x Goldie Hawn (Scorpio)
Johnny Cash x June Carter (Cancer)
Kurt Weill x Lotte Lenya (Libra)
Lou Reed x Laurie Anderson (Gemini)
Kurt Cobain x Courtney Love (Cancer)
Daniel Craig x Rachel Weisz (PiscesX2!)

Not knowing his ascendant is a bit difficult, but a Pisces sun doesn't mean too much. It's the moon/venus/mars that you want to look at, generally speaking, to get a better sense.

Virgo as a moon would make him much more details-oriented and a perfectionist, but also a bit more flirty I think, especially with Aries in Venus. A Capricorn Mars is strong as well. Without knowing more than just the basic placements, to me, this man would be sort of I-centric; he'll put a lot of emphasis on appearances and himself. He'll also have to be right a great deal of the time, but because of the Pisces Sun, might be a bit more emotional/empathetic.

amorphis: I was just (mostly) kidding about the Pisces Fem.
My aunt was Pisces: a beautiful and wise mother, army wife and worked hard for the RedCross. though she did enjoy her rum and cokes...

I like that your Pi-Man's got Venus & Jupiter in fire sign (if Venus represents' his ideal female, does it aspect your sun?). Your Moon's and Mercuries compliment each other (Aquarius/Virgo). And your mars are both in earth sign.
Too bad you don't know his birth time but you can make up your own synastry chart, I think most sites require birth time for that.

I met a Pisces a couple months ago. I'm a Scorpio and even though I don't really know him, he made quite an impression on me!

He's the good and the bad merged in one person.

Good: Sweet, gentle, polite, charismatic, charming, extremely good-looking, smart, funny, family-oriented, hard-working.

Bad: Self-absorbed, downright mean at times, completely disorganized, major player, BIG TIME FLAKE.

I had an instant crush on this guy and even though we're not speaking anymore, I haven't fully recovered. Pisces can be either really good or really bad. This one was pretty bad in the end, but it doesn't mean all Pisces are the same. I just picked the wrong one unfortunately.

I think as I'm a Scorpio, he and I got along instantly. We would talk about anything. Except he's a major player and would rather sleep with randoms than date a girl.

He cancelled multiple dates on me but whenever he'd meet a random girl, he didn't mind going on a date with her if it meant sex.

In the end, I feel as though I deserve much better than this tool/flake. I was too good for him anyway but he just show me the bad side of Pisces.

My Dad is a Pisces and he's married to my mom who is a Leo. My mom has a hot temper and they get into heated fights at times. However, my dad is a bit dreamy, so she keeps him grounded.

Uh... Nice on all the "pisces moon/mars/venus" negativity.

Maybe I just haven't met the type of guys mentioned here, but personally I have a TON of water, pisces included. Pisces moon here.

I like confronting problems head on, being blunt, and honesty... Currently interested in a pisces sun/venus and now I am wary...

Pisces men really are not for the faint of heart. They can drive you mad.

Hot and smothering one minuet, then "just friends" and distant the next. Its a delicate balance.

I got kinda lucky with my Pisces. He has a mars in scorpio which makes him more stable and less wishy washy. He's always been upfront with his feelings for me and never made me guess. I have a mars pisces so i'm kinda in touch with his point of view.

I can't speak for all..but, my guy is honest. caring and kind. very romantic at times and for sure my best friend. We were friends first and that will never change.

He's a pisces sun and mercury. Gemini rising and moon. Scorpio mars and Aqua Venus.

I'm a Cap sun and mercury. Leo rising. Aries moon. Pisces mars and scorpio venus.

Ah OK I thought you really meant it hehe Yeah my mom smokes a lot of cigarettes and she loves playing card games and stuff, the addiction part is kinda true

Well he keeps telling me that "I am the most wonderful girl he has ever met" but we only know each other for a few days so I backed away a bit. I want to get to know him more, spend some more time with him and make him open up a bit. We were really anxious on the first date so there were awkward silences

Thanks to everyone for their advice/experience/stories

I've attempted to date two of them. Now, I unfairly judge them & run like the wind whenever I hear "Pisces" anything. *lol*
