I pulled page of pentacles, the hermit and ten of wands

ALL of these cards indicate that the relationship needs to be worked on, page of pentacles encourages communication about what's lacking/suffering, hermit is showing that things could be rekindled but may not be a priority right now, and the ten of wands is showing maybe Brian needs your support - he may be suffering from some outside source

Overall, I sense that things CAN get better with patience, communication and understanding

I don't have any negative vibes about this reading - keep communication lines open and be aware of influences outside the relationship that may be affecting Brian
