He is being affected by the transiting Neptune in Pisces to his natal Mercury/Mars conjunction, but this should be periodic at best. It won't move away entirely until Feb of next year. He isn't taking some medication or something he shouldn't be taking?

Since the transit is affecting his natal Mercury (communications), I would say it's the stuff he's doing and maybe overdoing (combination). The planets involved don't indicate another girl. He will be like that off and on for a while.

His Cancer moon can be very intuitive--we all have that ability--just some have developed it more than others. I'll have to take a rain check on another reading--trying to finish getting over an eye infection.
