When you read a response to your question or hear it (however you receive the results) & it doesn't resonate at all or it feels wrong... How do you react?

Do you tell the reader? Do you accept the answer although it doesn't feel correct?

I'm just curious bc I've had this happen recently

I tell them. I know I am not infallible. Sometimes they do not take it well, sometimes they do.

Oh well.

I always will politely say it to them. I'll say something like "hmmm not so sure about that," or "no that's not right." I had a reading very recently and they seemed to start off getting things right then they seemed to interject with their own opinion of what they thought would happen rather than a psychic answer. At that point I knew it was a lost cause so I ended the reading. I should have known from the beginning because they didnt give any connection time either. I am always polite about it because we are human after all and we make mistakes. It only really bothers me when I've wasted money on a reading and the reader insists on something that I know for fact isn't true.

Agreed. Personally, I'd much rather be told than not. I have 'off days' just like everyone, but sometimes it's not as simple as an 'off day' - sometimes it's a matter of accuracy and honesty that a querant doesn't want to accept. I can't make that clarification if I'm not questioned further, and I want to be as accurate and fair as I can be.

You have to tell them because you are also helping them gain clarity into seeing what they may have interpreted wrong. So, you should always, always say it..always.

I like people to be honest with me about those things and if I'm off I always like giving refunds, and/or giving a free reading - I feel it's only fair..

I've had so many where they start off right but then it turns. Like I know what they are saying isnt true. I always feel bad because they started off so good! But I agree with Empress, you should always be honest and say when it's not correct.

really good insight here. I've had some readings where I'm just like :-O

HUH?!?!

I usually politely say, that doesn't resonate but it is hard for me because I second guess myself and wonder if I just don't want to accept the truth haha

When I've done readings though I don't mind *at all* if someone asks for more clarification or says it doesn't resonate because then I can go meditate on their question or come back to it later

I wish I had more thumbs for this.

This is absolutely the best and most ethical way to approach things. If you're willing to pay for a reading make sure that this option is offered, otherwise you'll likely dealing with a money hungry a-hole.

Yes, that happens at times. But also it happens the other way around..the querent assumes that the prediction is entirely impossible and that it won't happen, but how are they 100% certain that it won't?

The first person to give me a negative on Bitwine tried returning for another reading after 3-4 months, why? She told me my reading was off 3-4 months ago, why return to me again? (because the readings were for the future and at the time she didn't want to accept what I was seeing). So that's also unfair sometimes how the querent sometimes says "NO" if I see something "wrong" in their future..

I've only had this happen once in a paid reading. She seemed to get deeply offended, telling me that _I_ was wrong and just not listening to what she had to say. When a reading is completely inconsistent with anything else you've gotten (and more importantly, runs completely counter to your own intuition if you know how to listen to it), it's inaccurate. Period. Not surprisingly, I haven't been back to her.

For myself, I want to know if I'm wrong. I strive not to let my own 'stuff' get in the way, but I'm human. If it is getting in the way, call me on it so I can be aware and meditate to fix it. I take this gift seriously, I want to keep it in its proper perspective. Feedback good AND bad is central to that.

I don't discount predictions just because I think they won't happen. I try to be very open minded when it comes to predictions because you just never know what can happen. It's just when the reader gets personalities or situations completely wrong that I discount the predictions. I feel if they can't get the personalities or situations correct then maybe the predictions won't be correct.
