I haven't been able to really look at the synastry but I did a composite to try to understand also I don't have a birth time for the other person so I just put noon What do 8h composite placements mean? I know what the natal chart 8h represents, how is the composite 8h different? Thanks IP: Logged |

Again, WOW...An accurate time of birth would help a lot. So would adding your Vertex, Chiron, Lilith and Juno. Your 8th house falls in Virgo - deep, heady, confusing, slow-moving stuff! Your composite Sun in 8th represents depth of feeling, intensity, intimacy, substance. Composite Mercury in 8th: good communication, deep sharing, intimacy Composite Venus in 8th: Intensity, mind-body-soul transformation potential. Like I said: WOW! I think I may see a Ascendant-Sun-Mars trine in there too...Moon-Venus-Saturn semi (?) as well I believe....hmmm. I'm not great reading these, so I hope someone else will interject with greater insight. That's what I see though!

I love Eighth House placements in Synastry and Composite charts. This is because the Eighth House is the house of marriage and long-term commitment. Having the Sun, Mercury, and Venus there shows a lot of commitment from both sides. You will give your egos, intellect, and emotions to the relationship. All three of these will be open in the relationship, both to use for the other and for sacrifice for the other. They will also undergo great transformation. Your ego, intellect, and emotional self will all be influenced greatly by those of the other, and it is quite possible that this creates a lasting change in your outlook on these matters. The problems I see in this relationship are Neptune in the 12th and an empty 5th House. Neptune in the 12th can be both very good or very bad, depending on how it manifests. There can be much spiritual revelation and psychic connection. However, it can also create illusions and false dreams. It's hard to tell which it would do in this chart because it forms both hard and nice aspects. An empty 5th House can lead to a relationship that lacks romantic qualities. This isn't to contradict the 8th House statements (which, as a side note, enhance sexual pleasure as well). The 5th House represents small displays of affection and romance, everyday things that keep the relationship spark alive. This relationship may find itself struggling to keep that spark alive. Ofc, all house placements could be wrong if the birth time is off, because that would change all of his houses and thus the house placements in the Composite as well as House Overlays in Synastry. Also, a Synastry chart would be very helpful to have alongside the Composite to see if problems noticeable in the Composite are remedied by the Synastry. Hope this helps IP: Logged |

Pretty terrible. Though from what I know through you, I'd guess either Cancer or Virgo (damn Virgos! ). IP: Logged |

Yes, it does. So, not too long ago I asked how to ask for someone's birth time without being creepy. This was an awesome response:

Just my experience... so here's what I used to do.Once I read in the NYTimes (while riding the subway) that scientists have concluded that people have their peak time of alertness based on their birth time. For instance, if someone is born at 2pm, they are more apt to be awake, alert and ready to go in the afternoons, but are more sluggish in the morning. So I'd approach the question in that vein. Hope this helps, if not, at least it might be entertaining. Love and Light!
I haven't tried it out myself, but someone else has, and it worked. You might want to give it a shot, lol. IP: Logged |
