Since this is a general one, I took out 5 cards:
(1) IX of Pentacles, reversed: Economic crisis. Money issues.
(2) The Magician, reversed: Confusion, insecurity and unable to make choices.
(3) X of Swords, reversed: Pending a new cycle.
(4) II of Pentacles: Establishing a balance and sexy time.
(5) VII of Cups: Universal love.

I find this spread interesting. It says that you really do need to focus on work and yourself right now- mainly to cure the insecurities eating you up at the moment. I do see someone coming in, and it's going to be a short-term relationship, more friends with benefits. Then someone else comes in. Essentially saying, when it rains, it pours. But note that you need to work on yourself- that is a message coming out very strongly.

(3) VI of Cups, reversed: Split in a long term friendship- closure.

Did you just get out of a relationship? You need to go out more because you're closing off new opportunities. Anyway you are yet to meet this person. Probably a bit younger than you- probably for coffee/tea (non-alcoholic).

Considering cards (1) and (2) came out again, I think a fwb situation may happen with P if you are open to that. Not a long relationship as one of you will become very, very frustrated.

Thanks so much for the read. And it's funny you say I need to work on myself as I've really been thinking very seriously lately about certain areas of my life that I really want to change. I've been working on what I want to change and how I'm going to go about doing it.

The fwb with P makes sense because so many have told me he's going to come back around and I truly can see it just being a fwb type situation at this point. And I could pretty much guarantee I would probably be the one to get frustrated with him, especially if its a repeat of his past behavior.

I see a lot of waiting around and not seeing things through to the end. Why is this?
You really do need to get out more are this self imposed exile is really not getting you anywhere (cards 1 and 3). Your struggle with self confidence is noted by card (2 and 3).
There is a bit of you hanging on to the old, and not wanting to change (card 4 and 5). My advice: try to stop procrastinating- things happen when you work on it.

No, I don't think so. He'll be watching at a distance mainly because of the guilt he feels.

1: No, I didn't get out of a relationship but I'm currently in the process of moving on from a connection with someone. I made that decision very recently. It's been quite a while since I've been in a comitted relationship. It makes sense that the guy would be younger than me, as I currently deal with a lot of people who are younger than me (not much younger though).

2: Oh well... That doesn't surprise me. That is so typical of him... It will be pretty much more of the same, then. Ugh, guys... I guess this really is a hopeless situation.

I think it was all of them. The Senior manager and manager have don't have good impressions of you. But the Supervisor thinks you can do much, much better. I think the supervisor feels disappointed to be honest.

Mincey, because the cards for this question seemed so confusing to me (and surprisingly dark for what was intended to be a rather innocuous question), I started some research. I hope you don't think I'm questioning your draw, that's definitely not it at all - just trying to glean from it what I'm supposed to because I feel like there turned out to be more of a message there than I expected.

Since it was your draw, I'd really like to get your take on what I put together, see if it resonates with you as the reader. Putting it all into context with where my life is right now, where I am in my headspace, and the direction I'm headed in:

Moon - The path shown leading towards the horizon indicates traveling your journey on unknown paths towards one’s fate with faith and trust.

Four of Pents - suggests that sometimes change is needed in order to view things from a different perspective. When you step back from the situation you are able to see the bigger picture and broader view, allowing for consideration and thought rather than taking hasty, ill-conceived action. Consider your options and take the best course of action. The Four of Pentacles indicates a change for the better which will put you in command of your own life. Do what you think is best for you. Listen to your own advice.

The Fool - A new phase of life begins, a risk must be taken, a need to abandon the old and start something new. The energy of The Fool combines wisdom with creativity to provide new beginnings, unconditional love, and/or a choice or decision that needs to be made. In a reading, The Fool asks that you abandon the old to enable you to begin something new. The Fool tells that sometimes it is necessary to take risks in order to force change. I also found it significant that the Four of Pents card relates, specifically to people born between May 9th and 14th - my birthday is May 12th, pinning is May 9th and graduation on May 10th.

With my experience with the deck, Moon always almost means a shattering of an illusion- this is one of the reasons I dread it when it comes out when I am doing a live reading for a friend. Usually I would have to help out the friend in the next 2 months with it.
