I think they might help a bit, but what I see from the chart is that it's best for you to seek help from your friends or accquaintances. They could help you find some work where you can make extra cash. Your romantic partner might not feel that that's a good idea, though. They might stop you from doing so. For this situation, I think you should trust your intuition.

You're the second person to say the guy I will meet will be a sweet talker. Also second to say I'll meet him at work/trip. I don't have work because I'm still in school, but I'm hoping it's in school. I'm so excited I do hope he'll be someone to challenge me, though.

And about horary, it's a very complex thing, I'm not sure if I could teach it myself since I'm also still in the process of learning as I practice. But basically, the planets represent different things, depending on where they are in the chart. The ascendant basically describes the querent, and you look at the planet that rules it. That planet becomes the significator for the asker. Now, let's say, you're looking for a lost object, you look to the house that represents material posessions, in which case, the second house. Then you look at it's ruling planet and where it is in the chart. For example, the 2nd house is governed by Mercury and it's sitting in the 5th house. What does the 5th represent? Pleasure, love, romance, children, any place that caters to pleasure, sex, etc. Since we're looking for a place, then we can conclude that you left the missing object at some bar, maybe the movies, or the restaurant you went to the other night.

That's only for missing objects. It's more complicated with questions like, "Does he like me?", or "Will I get a promotion?". Those things take into account the aspects, the debilities and exaltations of the planets, the qualities of each sign (cardinal, fixed, mutable), and the houses (angular, succeedent, cadent).

I can give you this link if you really wanna learn. It seems pretty hard at first, but once you know your planets and houses and what they represent, it will be a piece of cake for you.
