I get the feeling that you may have been over emotional in your message- as in you let your frustrations out all at once or something. Something to do with the past?
As for A, if he's represented by the King Pentacles, then no, he wasn't too upset- this King is slow to anger, very placid, very earthy. There may be a slightly bashed ego with one of you- that's the first thing I thought when I saw the reversed Emperor. You may have come across a bit self-centered, but I think he understands it was in the heat of the moment. The Devil - this one is a bit odd to draw! But, I think it is speaking of keep you eye on the prize, don't get caught up or bonded to something that doesn't serve you - or over indulge or obessess over something that doesn't serve you. LIke stay away from bad vices, drinking, smoking, gambling,etc....if you even partake in any of those. Don't let relationships side reel your journey to success.
