I see is Mars in Scorpio... I don't think Jupiter is because it aspects your Venus well your Venus is applying toward Jupiter.

So Mars in Scorpio is a singleton? But how? And what do you mean my Venus is applying toward my Jupiter? IP: Logged |

Since Venus moves faster than Jupiter, Venus is applying towards Jupiter. So you feel the aspect and really did around age 7 so Jupiter isn't a singleton.IP: Logged |

As you can see, no planets aspect your Mars at 6 Scorpio. Only one that come close is Saturn in Pisces but the orb is 15 degrees. IP: Logged |

So singleton means unaspected? I thought a singleton was a planet that was the only planet in a certain element or modality?Well my Mars and Jupiter are aspecting each other with a semi-sextile? That doesn't count? IP: Logged |

I thought it meant unaspected.. i never put much weight into singletons though because eventually they aspect by solar arc or progression.IP: Logged |

Oh. Well I read singletons are planets that are the only one of a certain element or modality in a chart. Ex. Mercury in Aquarius is either the only air or fixed planet in a chart. So that's why I'm unsure if my Jupiter is a singleton because it is the only fire planet, but I also have a Leo Ascendant, so I'm not sure if that counts, thus cancelling the singleton out. But thank you very much for your help anyway, athenegoddess IP: Logged |

You were right, Jupiter is your only singleton. But your Mars might be considered unaspected. I think it depends more on whether one counts the Quincunx than the Semi-Sextile, because Semi-Sextiles are considered minor aspects, whereas Quincunxes vary depending on the person interpreting.IP: Logged |

Ah, okay, so it is Jupiter. Thank you for clarifying Yeah, so whether or not I count the Semi-Sextile as significant enough, determines if my Mars and Jupiter are unaspected, right? I mean, the Quincunx and Semi-Sextile both have the same symbols, except they're reversed, so maybe they're just as significant as each other? IP: Logged |

Well, your Mars is Conjunct the IC, so I don't know if that would be unaspected actually. It might be. I'm just not sure. In the case of Jupiter, yes, it depends on the Quincunx. I know the symbols are the same, but for some reason, it's supposed to be more important. There's a thread in Brown Owl School about unaspected planets. You could ask on there about yours.
