Hello I am new to the forum. I have always been interested in astrology and just recently got back from an awesome retreat on astrology, mediation and yoga. The astrologer mentioned that some autistic children could be on their first incarnate to Earth and it really got me thinking, because some with autism do almost act like they are very brand new to this world….

My nephew is 5 and he doesn’t speak much, he repeats a lot of things he hears. He is very sweet, and was just diagnosed with Autism. I find his chart pretty interesting because all of his planets are mainly in the 5,6, and 7th houses. He has a lot of air and water elements. A lot of Pisces and Aquarius going on. It doesn’t look like many aspects. I am sorry I am not sure how to post his chart. He was born 3/11/2009 Time: 7:15PM Ocala, FL

I thought he didn’t have many aspects and heard that might indicate young soul…. Not sure though. Also that is planets are all so close together. Anyone seen a chart like this? I am still learning about houses and aspects.. Thank you!

I can see this was your first post and hope you are still around.

I'd like to give this thread a little bump.

Perhaps you could try posting a natal chart though, it would make reading much more easier.

there was a thread floating around I believe on how to post a chart on LL. There is a search engine that will surely help you in locating that thread.

here you go

HOW TO GET YOUR CHART
1. Go to www.astro.com . You can create a free account or enter your birth data as a guest; however, creating an account will allow you to save your information – great for trying the different charts both for yourself and for others in your life. If you don’t know the exact time of your birth, do your best to find out – it *is* important.
2. Go to “Free Horoscopes” and then to “Extended Chart Selection.”
3. “Natal Chart Wheel” is the default, but you will need to go to “House System” (under “Options” use the drop-down to change to “equal”).
4. Click on “Click here to show the Chart,” then click on the chart which will appear.
5. Right-click and save the chart to your desktop.
HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR CHART
1. Create a free account at www.photobucket.com .
2. Select “Upload Now” which will bring up “Select Photos and Videos.”
3. Navigate to your desktop and select.
4. On right, click “Save and continue to my album.”
5. When you hover the mouse pointer over the chart, you will see that a box appears with a few options. If you need to edit out your name or anything else you don’t feel comfortable sharing on the boards, “edit” is in the top band of options. Select “edit” which opens your chart and provides editing options. Go to the tab “Decorate,” and you will see a number of icons, one of which is an eraser. Erase what you need to, and click “Replace original.”
6. Saving should take you to a new screen where you can see your chart and to the right, a bank of options to “Share this photo.” Click on the IMG code, which will flash and let you know that you’ve copied the link.
7. Go to your thread, open a new post and paste your link.
8. Don’t move or delete your chart from Photobucket, because the link only goes to where the chart was saved!

Hi Poppy,

Your nephew does have an interesting chart. What stuck out for me was:

He's living a reaping incarnation (majority of the planets are on the right side of his chart), which means that he is here for others to either help them or they are to learn from him (in a sense that helps a person with their spiritual growth as well).

Since most of his planets are in stelliums or concentrated, his ups and downs are also greater because the transits last longer for a particular area of his life.

From what I've read, autism also makes people smarter and with his chart, I can see him associated with the medical field helping others. The sign Pisces also rules medicine.

Transiting Saturn is now in his third house (communication) and squaring his 6th house (health) placements, which could be contributing to his way of speaking at the moment. Neptune (Pisces ruler), one of the planets affected rules drugs. He also has his natal Mars conjunct Neptune, which can be debilitating and sometimes weakens you at times, so it's important that he eats healthy foods. It's also a creative/magnetic aspect. Transiting Saturn won't move off of his stellium in the 6th house until November of next year.

Medications could be giving him problems (if he's taking them) or they may end up giving him some in the future to help him.

With the Uranus transit in Aries at the moment, I see it interacting with his natal Venus sextile Jupiter in the coming months--particularly March of next year. It may be that he becomes the beneficiary of a new treatment or medicine that helps him. I have read that some of the bright high school students that are coming up now have been working on science projects that are medically related, so it may come from one of them (who has a sibling with autism).

Best wishes,
Spring

Hi Poppy,
The thing that stands out for me is the Uranus-Sun in Pisces. Imagine if you will riding on a fast moving train and all the while things are appearing and disappearing rather quickly... you try to adjust and as soon as you do you have to adjust again. He is very bright and his ability to mimic is quite awesome. Very very susceptible to those around him so it is very important not to allow him around people you consider a bad influence in any way. Though we try to do that with all our children, some are more prone to follow than others... As is he. Great chart. I guess I have seen a lot of charts and yes I have seen a few like his. I would tell you that one day he may make his living or do something with his mimicry talents. hope that resonates.

Best Wishes....

Thanks so much Springtimeflower and Tphoenix! This does resonate a lot. I have often felt that he is here to teach us something. My brother, his father, passed away 3 years ago when Charlie was just two years old. My brother’s death was accidental and a big shock for our family. He had made some poor choices in his life and I always kind of thought Charlie was here to help him to learn grow spiritually and maturely. Act more selflessly. Now my mother has custody of him and worries a lot about him. Interesting that you mention drugs. They have not offered any yet to help him but it was mentioned that possibly in the future they could and my mother is VERY against that. She just doesn’t want to harm him in anyway. He is VERY picky about what he eats and that is something I feel needs to be worked on. He will only eat chicken nuggets and fries and the doctor tells my mother this is okay, it won’t hurt him. But I have read a lot about parents of autistic children changing their diets and it has helped them. I do feel he can sense the emotions of people, he doesn’t like it when people who yell or if they are very loud spoken.

If you have a lot of stelliums at the bottom of your chart does that mean anything? His father had a lot at the bottom, and me personally I have most of mine to the left in my 1st, 10th, 11th, and 12th houses.

Thank you both! It does mean a lot. Helps me get a better picture of what is going on with this aspects and makes a lot of sense.
Blessings and Gratitude!

I wanted to add a bit more...saw that transiting Pluto in Capricorn (parents, establishment) will be squaring the aspect I saw in March next year, but wasn't sure how it would fit in, so that could be the doctor's wanting to give him meds and the mother being against it. One book I read on the natal Mars conjunct Neptune said that you should eat green, leafy vegetables and you could also benefit from a multivitamin as well. This aspect can also affect your immunity levels as well. I remember talking to a nice lady one time that changed jobs because the staff at the facility where she worked took a portable radio away from an autistic boy and the sad part was that it really helped him to also hear music--soothing. I'm glad I don't have his doctor. It seems that she needs to find a new doctor, but there are plenty that are benefiting by the choices (diet, lifestyle) we have been making. Is it maybe a convenience for him to have fast food (I'm assuming), because of her lifestyle. Given that he is five, I'm guess it will all come to head next year when he turns six and it's time to think about him going to first grade. Did your son and daughter-in-law argue a lot? That may be why he doesn't like the loud noises.

People who have more planets at the bottom of a chart or below the horizon are more subjective in their approach to life (especially in those areas where the planets fall). If they are in the houses above the ascendant and descendant, you are more objective in your approach.

Your planets being on the left side mean that you are in a sowing incarnation where you blaze your own trail.

A good thing for you to look at to understand the dynamics of what is going on around you is the north and south nodes, as that is what each of us are here to teach others (north) and where we came from-past (south).

Hi

I'm no astrology expert, but what stood out to me was the amount of Chiron conjunctions. Especially the one with Neptune. Since Chiron is the wounded healer & Neptune is very outer worldly, I can imagine that this could relate to autism. Since Chiron is also in Aquarius (more outer worldliness - eccentricity), it feels like this is significant & it would possibly make him very sensitive and/of having this 'other awareness'. So the effect & the being way out there would be doubled. Or so I can imagine. Then with saturn on the ASC it would restrict expression and perhaps it's fitting for having to do things in certain patterns, which is very important for people with autism.

Would live to write some more, but have to go. Hope this helped a bit

Great job Twirl!

I'm not an expert either, but I learn from everything everyone posts.

Thank you so much for all your insights. They truly are helpful and make a lot of sense. I shared them with my mother and she agrees. He is very special. We will see how it all comes to pass concerning his doctors and new medicines that might come into play. He will be attending a new school in the fall which is a very good one for Autism.

Blessings! Thank you for your help.
