OK, so not sure what's going on with G, but there appears to be deception or illusions, something is being hidden from you. I think it does make sense. I'll give you some background. G is my biggest ex. We have been together on and off for 8 years & he was out of my life for at least 5 now (since that 8 years). And now just popped in. I tried to keep the contact brief & short, because it's just not going to work. And/or I don't want this kind of partner.
Even though I like him & it's okay that it's not working and made piece with that . He now keeps coming & I find it hard to break the contact of again, seems to stir some old emotions after all. But I think I should, and let it be again. Friends will not be working.

No problem I'm not sure if it's talking about the relationship with G but if it does maybe it also means you don't need to make sure this relationship is "healed/good/on good terms" in order to be happy - like you mentioned you can just let it be what it is... maybe?
