Just this: I ran into this classmate of mine who really stabbed me in the back in high school pretending to be my friend and trying to get me to fall out with everyone else i was friends with. Well basically I saw her at a 3ft distance and she looked me in the eye, I felt unwell on the spot. No words were exchanged thank God i just kept walking, knees bending

So I was wondering: did she recognise me? what did she feel? and why did god want me to run into her?

My empathy radio is at your service. Plus I got a new deck (Dreaming Way with super cool imagery by a Korean illustrator) with which I seem to tune in ok.

When she stared at you it was more of a curious stare, like "Is this really her?". why is he doing this and what he wants

the short answer is: because he's a massive immature tw@t.

the long answer is he's got mummy issues. this relationship with his mother (either not loving enough or too loving) gave him a certain attitude towards girls in general, as if they existed for his pleasure. do you have a tough/cool facade? because this could be why he is going after you. or else he has a history of a girl being cold to him, so now he's taking his revenge. it tickles his nerves manipulating others, makes him feel cool, gives him a massive adrenaline rush. so he's doing it for kicks, whereas inside he is still messed up and has no idea of what is good for him and has no solution for an inner conflict he's unaware of. he might also feel like he'll get away with murder.

what to do?

a lot of this makes sense

yes, a couple of years ago two equally horrible things happened at the same time. my estranged lover's soul was eaten away by substances and my best friend betrayed me. sort of two people who meant a lot and whom i really tried to keep in my life and who i cared about.

so i tend to discard people a lot, just because i don't see much point in investing time in all those catch ups and whatnot. i am not interested in what goes on in their lives, that kind of thing. feeling detached if anything.

cool, i was just confused by the general outlook on the QoC. i felt like he bore a grudge, as if she hadn't given him enough. then the symbolism tripped me up and i thought it could be the opposite.
