There is a feeling of turning one's back on something/someone.
A sad journey away from something that one once treasured or understood. An inner conflict that has led to an inevitable moving away (mentally).
I feel that the horizon is being scanned for a place to call home, or for somewhere to belong. And a sense of waiting for the result of past actions, longing for clarity.

It is suggested that the journey will be more efficient and rewarding, if time is taken to slow down and heal.

I think this makes sense and is also confusing at the same time. There were a couple different layers to my dream. One part was romantic, where I found someone I really liked and felt comfortable with (we looked at embarrassing family pictures of me). Another part was me trying really hard to run away from something (this was symbolized by teachers in a school, but for some reason I believed there was something really dangerous and dark about the school. Another part was me scared of losing a part of me (there was a threat of having my arm chopped off).

The issue of healing is something that has repeatedly come up in the past couple days. Kind of annoying.
