We've known each other for 15 years and for a time there we had a thing, but we were never boyfriend/girlfriend. If it were up to me, we wouldn't even be talking now, mostly because we drifted apart and there isn't much to connect us anymore. What I mean is, we've only talked in the last 8 years 3, maybe 4, times. He does the contacting every 2 years, more or less, whilst I just respond and keep things superficial - he's been with someone else for the past 7 years, mostly on than off. Anyways, I thought perhaps he had invited every FB friend he has, but no, he selected only 44 out of the 600 he has. What gives? Why is he inviting me to his graduation? He feels terrible about things, and actually, I may be getting that he kind of screwed you out of a lot of money....I am leaning towards emotional or financial betrayal.
