He feels u want something more serious or to be treated more seriously and this put things at a stale mate or they are left alone to let it sink in w what was said. They are wanting to remain alone since there is alot to think about and uncover

Ziggy sees you as someone who is just another person in the crowd, you do pique his interests a little and he acts nice with you - but I feel this is in a way like a teacher to his favorite student or two co-workers becoming friends.
