2 of Swords 2 of Pentacles RX Knight of Cups

From these cards, I don't believe he's made up his mind about intentions or what to do or if he wants to do anything. Because of the 2 of Pentacles RX being next to a fluid and ever changing Knight of Cups, I don't believe he can commit to anything with you right now. It's almost as if he is choosing not to see you as a romantic candidate because of other factors (the ones in the 2 of Pentacles) or he's ignoring his feelings for you. Is there someone else involved in his life?

Don't think there is anyone else. At least no one serious. I only asked because he seemed to be making moves on me, like engaging me in conversation, then complimenting me... He's been flirting back and forth with the idea of asking me out. I thought he was vying for that, I guess.

Do you mind if I do Cartomancy? Not sure my Tarot is very good...

He sees you as an intelligent, dynamic woman of authority. Perhaps a little on the garish side, but I don't feel that's a bad thing. I do see that he expected a bit more out of you, like a promise unfulfilled. He does see you are generous, enthusiastic and socially active. He sees you putting effort into your work and trying to do your best. Overall, I think he sees you as hardworking and helpful employee.

Thank you. We joke around frequently, but I don't think I've disappointed him like that. He hasn't said anything to me that I would take seriously. Yes, I'm garish and outgoing at work :P Thank you for this.

I think he expected you to have more of a professional, poker-face like personality, that's all. That's the "promise unfulfilled".
