The only time I ever get readings are when I don't hear from Y. I haven't heard from him since Oct 19th and I've been getting readings ever since wondering when he'll contact me. The thing that used to give me hope was him reading my messages. I even broke down and got a reading done by AV on Saturday and she gave me the number 1 (contact for that day, within 1 day, or Nov 10th, but definitely not one month.) I know readers read current energy and because Y changes his mind a lot, I think that sometimes contact time frame will change, which is why I get the readings when the time frame has passed.

The trick lies in finding an activity that keeps you so occupied so that you have little time to feel anxious.

Try and keep yourself busy with work, take courses, meet friends, volunteer in a charity. Especially exercise. The hormones released in your system during exercise destress in a major way.

A change of venue also helps. Perhaps you could go visit family or friends. I know this for a fact. When trying to disengage from an ex, it really helped to be away from the place where I did all the worrying and feeling.

Personally, I would simply contact him when I want to. If he doesn't answer the phone the first or second time, I'll leave a message telling him to get back to me. If he doesn't get back to me, I will drop him like a rock in the marianas trench.

Don't tolerate any games especially in the initial stages of a relationship is my view because his behaviour can become habitual. It's not good imo to get attached early (apologies if this is not the case) 'cause some prospects can fail. I hope you find a way to deal with this that is less costly. <3

Sometimes plain common sense from friends is more useful. I once read someone report how readings had kept her in a relationship which did not go anywhere. Could it be that the universe (the readings) are telling you that these readings must be ignored, by making go through hoops?

That's true. However, every message that I have sent since Oct 19th has only been read by him, but still no reply. I have also called him, but he doesn't answer (either because he is busy or sleep.) Yet, he still never called me back. I feel like sending him a quick message to tell him that I'm not upset, but I'd feel silly after looking at my previous messages and no reply from him.

When did you sent the last message? let pass some couple of days and then you can sent something funny...some joke or something, just to let him know you are not upset, nothing "serious".. just an ideea.

Can you ask for readings on here as people seem good to me and some offer free? If you prefer to speak to someone, is it something about the ritual of calling them to stave off calling him?

From what I noticed, you can ask and someone may respond to your questions if you need a reading done. For me, if I ask about contact, I just want to know "when" to expect him to reach out to me. Sometimes, the readings can become a quick fix for how I'm feeling at the moment. For example, if I'm feeling antsy and want to know something, I'll contact a reader to find out what I'm curious about. It will satisfy for me so long, before I reach out again if the time frame passed and nothing happened.

Oh I do understand that immediate need .. It's so awful and gripping - I think I've avoided some addictions just because I have the worst willpower and know they'd take over.

It is awful. I gave in since I made this thread to speak with Lidia which makes me feel even worse. I didn't want to go back to her for time frame predictions, because her predictions rarely come through for me, but she was the only one that was online from my advisor list on Bitwine that I wanted to speak with. Hopefully, her prediction comes to pass this time. Last time it didn't and I tried to ask her about it, but she didn't really give me a straight answer, lol.

It's strange because I'm very good with money and this is the first time I've been spending it carelessly with readings. I just know I'll feel a lot better whenever Y contacts and things can go smoothly.

I see. Personally I have a hard time following tarot because it's a bit confusing and if I want to do something, I just do it (Aries Sun here).

I don't know if what you could potentially be upset about is serious but maybe starting a casual conversation away from the topic can help lessen the pressure. This is off-topic from astrology but if you want to get into contact with someone, don't text them. Seriously I ignore like 5 texts harmlessly a day and it's not to be rude. I either don't get them or am not near my phone.
