Well, seems like there's something you need to solve BEFORE you can anter a love relationship with this guy.... Something about the ideals you have in your life didn't change in the time of a pastlife... Some useless worry you had and now this guy need to pay back...

the clarifier means that you really can have a great love, but you need to clean this situation before, things won't be so easy, but I sense you have the stamina for this... the overcoming one!

It seems like the next guy you'll meet will have quite a bit of an emotional baggage. He will be very guarded and with restrictions when it comes to love. There will be a break up in his recent past. I feel you will help him heal within but more in a friendly manner... I don't necessarily see romantic ties here, 1. because he will not be open for a new relationship yet & 2. because you won't feel the fiery passion towards him.
