But what we find interesting is every time she does a reading for me about work. Two cards come up in the "future" section. She does a 7 card layout that I've not been able to find online to show you. I've tried to "draw" it below.

The two cards are the Chariot and the High Priestess.

She keeps telling me that I will travel and meet a woman who will help me find a job or give me a job.

I'm just not buying this interpretation!

Does someone else have any idea what these two cards could mean for "the future" in a work related question. I have to say, we don't ever remember the rest of the layout. We just remember that these two cards have come out in the exact placement at least three times in a work related layout.

Also, she only uses the majors.

It would be difficult for anyone to interpret the two cards alone without knowing what the others were. The Chariot can represent metaphorical movement and the High priestess (I think it was,wasn't it)? could represent you.) So I feel it would be YOU (the high priestess) searching (the chariot) for a job.

Regardless, I have done a reading for you...

The world, 7 of pentacles, justice

The world would show that with your last position that you felt the "world" on your shoulders. Did you feel that you were working hard for very little money and recognition? The 7 of pentacles is showing that the position that you are looking for will be the direct awards of what you have done in the past that will affect the future.
Justice is showing balance. So all of your energy should be towards finding a job at this time. If there are other pressing issues that you are experiencing then put job finding on the back burner for now. In other words find that balance.

I figured it would be a but difficult without the rest of the cards. We didn't think to note the others. Of course the first time we didn't know we would need to. The second time they came out in the exact same place were like "hey. look at that". When they came out the third time in the exact same place, then we were more like .... "What the....?"! LOL. I should have at that point noted the other cards.

The thing is they sit in the future. Not in the present. I honestly can't see meeting some woman on a trip who will give me a job to the point that I've been thinking of not traveling for the holidays to stay focused on my job search. But your reading indicates I should probably take the trip and relax a bit.

(ETA: Oh.. wait... you mean I should focus on finding work and only deal with pressing issues... So I should NOT take this trip.... You are probably right. Plus I'd feel guilty having fun with no job.)

Right no I only have a very very part time and very badly paid job. So you are right there. My issue is that I've had very irregular work in the past. So that is really killing my CV. Sigh.

I'm quite focused on finding a job because of Jupiter about to conj my MC.
