The impression I get here is that H views you as an unattainable dream and perhaps something he can view only from afar. In some way, shape, or form H is going to upset or disappoint you. There is hope for you to find a great relationship, but it will take time. Keep positive and optimistic despite the love disappointments you may experience this year. Follow your heart- you alone are your best guidance. Sadly, I see you walking away from H because there is the potential that he will hurt you. Stay calm, keep all of your options open, and realize you can walk away from previous failures because something better is on the horizon.

That is very hard to swallow for me because of the deep feelings and care I have for him.

What do you mean by he sees me as an unattainable dream? Yes, you are right that this may be upsetting because I am being extremely patient with him and he is so slow moving.

I think he holds you in high regard, but insecurity will hold him back and that is why he is very slow moving. I feel he will end up settling for someone "safer" (meaning a downgrade) because he is worried about being rejected from you. I think his insecurity and self-centeredness would cause difficulties for you in the long run.

The first part is correct I feel. For some reason, I feel like he thinks he isn't good enough for me... ,but I clearly have told him that I have love for him.

Do you feel that I can boost his confidence by doing anything here?

Sorry if I am asking too many questions.. it's very tough. I have been dealing with this situation for quite some time now and it is very tough for me to let go... my heart honestly aches and not understand why such a strong connection isn't going anywhere.
