I think the right resolution for you is about cleaning off of revamping some sandstone steps or similar. If you do that then you might go onto painting/maintaining the guttering.

I think by the looks of things you might even stay with this guy for awhile. He appeals to you and you seem to be wearying of searching for/beginning new relationships. You can work all day at things like that and potentially can get a lot of satisfaction and kind of get lost in it - very rewarding for you. Perhaps you are quite time-poor, that is, you don't often have the time with work and commuting to be able to see to these things so you will have to plan for it so that you have all the stuff on hand.
