Do you guys talk about intense stuff to each other?
I don't know if it's a soul mate, but I feel soul connection or at least karmic connection between you and him.
I don't think the connection will dissipate any time soon, however I do see some intermittent communication at some point but it will resume eventually.

If you take things slow, I can see a relationship/commited bond forming, but if you're thinking of marriage/children, it might be still quite far away...

he's inquisitive and I feel next year (or late this year) he will have some sort of upheaval(?), that might make him question his principles in life.
But he seem to able to survive through it.
Take things slow- let the bond form by itself and observe the energy surrounding you two. Be a friend, take things as presently as possible, or the energy could go awry.

I'm can't verify about trusting and caring per se since we only met & knew about each other for a few days in a conference, but the part that he's weary/regrouping is right, from what I knew he's been having tough time advancing due to personal problems. He was a very intense guy, quite sarcastic and private, but he did open up to me, it felt very natural.

We had intense attraction to each other (intellectual & physical) but we did not push further (luckily- because he's married). There may be a potential work together in the future but it's neither here or there ( but the opportunity is there for him to take if he wished to.) The communication as ceased, and I don't have the need to push it either.

He's Scorpio-Sag cusp, I'm a pisces with scorpio moon.

Oh I see, he must not be very happy with his married life then. Interesting so with this intense attraction, if you don't mind me asking, how often is he on your mind? What do you hope the future holds for you two?

Just before I met this scorp, I had closure regarding a Taurus guy- (it was painful but was clean) But it was interesting to see the connection difference quite immediately.

With the Taurus man, it was more chaste & pure. There's comfort, warmth and security. The bond felt deep because we've been friends for a while. Lots of our understandings were unspoken. It was strange but soothing connection- I even met his parents, but lots of complications (age gap), and finally closure happened (he chose someone else) .

With this Scorpio, it was very intense right off the bat (mind you I rarely get attracted to people in general so this felt strange to me). Far from chaste & pure, the tension was so thick throughout the days- we were very attracted to each other intellectually & immediately physically after. It was strange, and I could tell he's not used to that also. Despite his confrontational/blunt presentation style (which put off some others), he's very respectful/not aggressive, just very intense and inquisitive. I always love a good debate, so we mentally sparred throughout the days there, which heightens the attraction I guess.

The industry we're in is not that big so there are always chances to meet up again, (in fact, I just realized I used his material for another job years ago) but both of our occupation is very independent. it'll be pretty much have to be his choice if we ever meet up again in work situations (since we each have no 'boss' that will send us anywhere lol)

It was a nice ego boost & contrast if anything, even though I have a nagging feeling it's not over yet for some reason. :/

But I rather have an unmarried prospects.

it's nice to see the stark contrast of connection types.

No need to wait, being patient means it's going to be slow, that's all. I keep seeing June in my mind, or number 6. Like I said before, if you wish for 'when' committed relationship, might be hard because I feel it's the type where there won't be any declaration, it felt as if it's something that would just slowly get eased into...

The feeling I got is you need to just enjoy the moment- and be fully present. Experience each interaction as it is, do not focus on what might or might not happen for now as it will create anxiety. Make each moment delightful.

But I keep having number 6 in my mind so take it as you may wish
