What does this actually mean?!
What does the MC actually govern in one's life?

I don't often feel lucky tbh, I feel like the universe doesn't bless me through these postive aspects. Or perhaps, I don't quite understand how to work these trines to my favour?!

The MC is how you project yourself in the world. Or rather how others see you.

It can also be career 10th house but work is ruled by 6th house.

Edited ...

Let's say your MC was in Libra then you would look to a monthly tarot reading for Libra to see how others would see you for the month. Also, career would be influenced here as well.

I find that I don't feel the MC influences as much as I should. Mostly the negative parts of my natal play out. With that said, I'm usually able to get on well with everyone in an office setting.
