I started a new job a couple weeks ago and although it started really good at first, I am now starting to second doubt my choice. On top of having severe IT issues which the company doesn't quite seem to care about (it hinders my performance because I can't use any tool to complete my assignments unlike my colleagues), I am now dealing with a very condescending/harsh boss.
The job in itself is feasable if only I had proper tools. The IT people keep telling me: "There's nothing we can do about this" (sure!). I like the tasks. I'm not overly passionate, but I really enjoy the work.
The problem is that I am sensing some friction starting with my supervisor for whatever reason (personality clash) and I'm also wondering if I should pursue something more creative (journalism/media ...).
I'm not one to quit at the first hurdle, but my contract is only for a specific period of time so I am wondering if I should pursue in this field after my contract is up or if I should move onto something more creative.
Is the atmosphere going to get better or will I want to change my career path after this contract is up?
Thank you!
