so, some probably know, I was looking at perm job for about 1 year. I am currently on a contract with a good company, I carved out my own space as a dependable and knowledgeable professional, however I am quite bored there,read not excited. So I had 5-7 interviews for another positions without positive outcomes.
Today, my "old" employer (I worked for this company 9 years ago) called and ask me if I want to work for them as a contractor.
The catch is I will be a lead (managing 3 off shore people) Not only that I will be responsible for a solution design of the whole module. To be honest I do not have necessary experience in this module. and I have never managed people before. So I said "yes" and now I am scared shi.tless" Will I be able to perform up to par? Will I acquire enough knowledge in the next 2 weeks ( I will have to read a lot of documentations) . BUT even though I am scared I am also excited!!! I am also a quick study so 2 weeks will be more than enough for get OVERAL overview of the whole module. I asked my collegues who worked on this module, They say it is not THAT difficult and I should grasp it fast. But again they worked years on this module and I only "touched" it. I still have an option to stay with my current employer. but I am bored and in the same time I am very scared to move on to managerial and solution design world. when I think about it I think I have anxiety attacks Can you do a reading for me. will this move be beneficial for me. and most important will I succeed? Knowing all my shortcomings and lack of knowledge?

so scared, you are right I fell inadequate well it does not even describe it what I feel. but major feeling is a fear
But all good things comes with a catch. in this case extra hard work and FEAR! But Fear can be concurred.
