Topic: shool or look for work? i need some guidance

hello! I was hoping someone could do a reading for me please? I want to know if I should go to school or look for work right now? I am pretty lost :S im leaning towards school but I feel like I should find a job...there is a job I was considering applying for but I am not sure :SIP: Logged |

I feel that there might be a problem with work for you but that it will end quickly. I would say if you are able to do both, I would go for it. School is going to help you better yourself and get further.

hello! thanks for giving some advice I was thinking about doing both I just don't know if I could work the schedule out but I will try...I hate job hunting it's so stressful and the interviews are the WORST! It would be nice to find something for the expirence and the extra money :S interviews just fill me with axiety though! haha I think I will go ahead with school and apply to a few places as well...I just hope I can find an okay job :P thanks guys IP: Logged |

my professor said you should try to do as many interviews just for practice so itll feel like second nature. even if you dont get the job. i think thats one of the best advice ive gotten bc i would never have thought to use interviews as practice lolsIP: Logged |

yeah you're so right I had a mock interview the other day and I was freaking out before it but it went pretty well and as much as I hate it I know you're right and practice really does help with intervies it's just so nerve wracking :SIP: Logged |

I am in HR so I'm the one doing the interviews. You know what your skills are and you should never be nervous going in....go in with the attitude of the company is lucky to have you and not you're lucky if they hire you. If you change your attitude, you will start to interview easier. Hope this helps a little bit! IP: Logged |

I would say go with your gut feeling. If possible do both. But I agree with the above poster - do as many interviews as you can, it's great practise plus it will give you an idea of the type of questions that will get asked.
