Maybe he first thought you are inaccessible for him and maybe he was still stuck in his job (with his mind) but all insecurities falled apart and he really enjoyed it and you are going to hear from him

Seems like R feelings like a lucky man. He feels like you're a soulmate, someone that he feels like home when you are together. I dare to say that you both feel like little children in a playground! This feeling is growing over the time, is not a quickly and very devastating one, but a stead and slowly taking place. If you go quickly, I see that this man can be as sleepery than a fish. So dont rush things here. He may likes to go out a lot. I sense that you met out of the blue, in a very unusual occasion... And that's the great feeling of this..
