I've always been into astrology but I really don't identify with anything in my chart besides my moon sign (sagittarius) and north node (pisces). According to western astrology, my sun is in aries, moon in sag, ascendent in aries. I've been to astrologers who say that I have a bad temper, but this has yet to show up in my life and quite frankly, I'm much more of a passive-type. I have my moon opposition mars which is supposed to lead to a volatile/violent individual, but I don't believe in violence. In fact, I have a word for "peace" tattooed on my body. My friends say that I have way too much patience and I'm too nice to people which attracts the wrong kind of people. A lot of my chart reveals a temperamental, angry person, but I tend to laugh off a lot of things…so what gives? IP: Logged |

Well.. There are many ways many different aspects can play out. Would you be willing to post a picture of your chart? Of course you could anonymise it/erase the birth info on the picture if you wanted to.IP: Logged |

Like ReadingTheStars95 said, it could be a number of things. The aspects these planets make and other placements in your chart would dictate your temperament. For example, I also have my Moon in hard aspect to my Mars (at a .5 Degree orb no less) and I'm also a very composed and passive person. Having this aspect doesn't predispose someone to be violent. In fact, this one aspect alone could also mean that the person has a difficult time expressing anger, is deeply passionate and protective of the family, has a drive for the family to "get ahead" in the world, or this aspect could describe a mother having an overbearing and strong influence as a child which would impact how one might assert his/herself later in life. Again, there are so many other variables that need to be looked at (is the moon waxing or waning? what modality are the moon and mars in?) before one can determine what someone is like by looking at their chart. If you're up for it, I'd say post it on here and see what kind of feedback you get. There are a lot of talented astrologers here who might be able to help clarify some things. IP: Logged |

Whew.. Well, it is understandable why you resonate with Sagittarius.. Moon in Sagittarius in the 9th house? Definitely has some resonance there.. Ah.. I also have Neptune and Mars quincunx.. From my experience, with this aspect, it definitely seems to bring Mar's energy to a slightly different expression, that almost seems to kind of flip it to a different way of working. It's like.. One of the most passionate planets, aspecting one of the most self-sacrificing planets. I think that could show a more 'mellow' temperament because of the fact that the person may see it that non-violence is the more spiritual way of expressing their passion.. Or, that they may even be willing to sacrifice their passions in situations when they take into consideration other people's placement in the situation. Now.. You said you resonate with Pisces.. The thing is, your Sun-sign and Chart Ruler is aspecting Neptune. That says something. Also, that Mars-Saturn aspect could mellow things out too.. Actually, could even show that maybe you don't get agressive enough at times? Of course, since it is a Quincunx, you very well may have learned to balance that at this point in time.. Also.. Since your Chart and Sun-sign ruler is aspecting your moon, that could actually inadvertently give a certain energy to your moon.. IP: Logged |

ReadingTheStars95- Your interpretations provided some great insight. I definitely am less aggressive than I should be at times…but luckily I have a lot of physical and creative outlets that I use when I am frustrated at someone or myself so I'm not hugely affected my this part of my personality. What kind of energy would my sun sign aspecting my moon give me/give off? IP: Logged |

You're not Aries rising. Double Aries people are not passive types. You are almost certainly Pisces rising with other factors that fit how you describe yourself. Astrology is never 'wrong' but sometimes charts are not correctly set. In fact, there was no possible Ascendant at 10 Aries for your date/location of birth, or in early Aries at all. I won't go into any more involved explanations here. Based on your self-description your Asc is probably 25 Pisces which is parallel Mercury and contra-parallel Venus. ------------------ Professional Astrology, Expert Rectification Complete Rising Sign Descriptions IP: Logged |

Thanks both ReadingTheStars95 and Kannon McAfee- although my interest in this fascinating topic is not new, I'm only beginning to understand that it is far more complex than it seems. I appreciate your feedback and insight. IP: Logged |

I do want to explain these things in-depth and will eventually have a page on my blog that does. But generally individuals just want to know they have an accurate chart that fits them. Unicorn, if you read interpretations (as on my planets page) for Mercury and Venus (in angular aspect to Asc: conjunction/parallel, square, opp/contra-parallel), you may find you confirm it, as much as for any description of Pisces rising. ------------------ Professional Astrology, Expert Rectification Complete Rising Sign Descriptions IP: Logged |
